I know your goal is to unleash your most alluring female self. You don’t want to be just any woman – you want to be that mythical creature… the highly attractive woman.
But what makes a woman attractive? Is it simply having a pretty face or “perfect” body?
Definitely not.
Being attractive is about more than just your physical appearance. It’s also about the way you present yourself, how you interact with people, and the energy you radiate.
Ready to turn your attractiveness up a few notches?
In this article, created specifically for crossdressers and transgender women, I share 6 habits of highly attractive women:
Habit #1: Take Good Care Of Yourself
Eating well, exercising, and getting enough sleep will give you a glow that can’t be matched with makeup. Taking care of your body doesn’t just make you look good, it also shows the world that you respect yourself – another highly attractive quality.
Habit #2: Show Some Skin, But Not Too Much
Attractive women are in touch with their sensuality, so don’t hide your sexy side! Show off your best feminine assets – whether it’s a peek of skin here or a little leg there. Just remember that balance is the key. Revealing too much looks desperate, rather than attractive.
Habit #3: Be Passionate
Passionate women are attractive. If you’ve lost your lust for life, it’s time to break out of your rut. Be somebody who engages with life, tries now things, and has interesting things to talk about. (Luckily, crossdressers and transgender women are some of the most interesting people in the world!)
The best way to get out of a rut? Do something scary every day. I recommend the book Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway for more on this topic.
Habit #4: Care For Your Hair
Hair has a huge impact on your appearance. Full, shiny hair projects youth, beauty, vitality, and femininity, so make this a priority when presenting yourself as a woman. Whether it’s your own hair or a high-quality wig, gorgeous hair can take you from blah to beautiful.
Habit #5: Be Positive
Do you know anybody who is constantly complaining? It’s a huge turn off, isn’t it? There’s nothing appealing about drama and negativity. People are naturally drawn towards positive, uplifting energy, so let your attitude do the attracting.
Habit #6: Exude Confidence
Attractive women share one universal trait: confidence. The good news is that you don’t have to wait until you feel confident to start exuding it. Confident body language – i.e., standing tall, looking people in the eye, and smiling – will give you a confident look that attracts others like bees to honey.
Which traits do you find most attractive?
Being your most attractive feminine self is about more than just looks. Your presentation, attitude, and energy are just as important!
Which traits do you think are essential to being an attractive woman?

Everything is what it is. Seems like going out in drag gives me confidence to perform better behind closed doors.
Lucille, thank you for all your great tips and wonderful advice. Your website has helped many of us to be better people, to fit into our society and to combat self doubt. True confidence comes from within when we are content and comfortable with who we are, knowing that we are our best self we can be at this moment. Not necessarily in appearance, for this is temporary. And it’s not by being great in our own eyes or thinking we are better than anyone else or putting on a facade to make others believe we are something that we are not. But by recognizing our self worth and realizing that we can always improve ourselves, our situations and our surroundings. We become a person of value and a benefit to others when we believe in ourselves. Thank you Lucille.:)
I was just thinking about putting on a facade to make folks think we are what we are not. I’m shy, a Swedish trait I inherited. So one of my facades is to project non-shyness. It works for me!
Excellent tips and better still they are free or inexpensive to do!
I think the most important thing a warm, confident smile. As I was practicing my walk while out with my dog the other day I decided to concentrate on smiling also. I used to smile all the time but gradually stopped over the years and I don’t know why. I find when I smile it improves my attitude and my confidence as well as those I meet.
Hugs and Smiles,
Jenny Dee
I find confidence was my best feature when being out in this world. When I had confidence, people noticed. They complimented me on my look and outfits and some men have approached me. But if I haven’t had free time to be my femme self for a long while, my confidence diminishes and I struggle with it again.
I believe confidence and commitment to be who we were chosen to be. I didn’t choose to be a cd or do drag or even to be gay for that matter, it all chose me and I have no regrets what so ever. I always love the articles here and the comments. I have been out for a long time now. I think I became committed early on. The first time I put it all together I was 13. I stood in front of a full length mirror and fell totally in love with the young girl looking back at me. I decide right then at that moment I loved myself and my look so much more than my boy persona. Thank you Lucille and all that commented, Jackie…..
Thank you Jackie
Thank you for your lovely comment, Jackie! I love the conversations that happen here.

I love the positivity that makes me smile and laugh. Everyone is drawn to and loves positive happy people. That has been a tough go in 2020, butt I seem to have been able to smile and show a caring, honest and truly uplifting attitude, that can be seen through a mask. My eyes tell a lot and I keep my appearance in tip top shape. Have taken several eye make up classes on line and what a difference. I call them my Happy Eyes, cause that’s all most people see now. Stay happy, stay positive and try to encourage all those that may be in a negative or depressed state to look beyond the dark clouds to the sun still shining above. Kisses to all, Lia
Terrific article. Out of everything you said, confidence is #1 in my book. I am en femme sporadically of late and when I do get a chance to go out if it has been a while I do my best to stand tall (and I’m already 6’1″ without the 4″ heels I always wear), walk/strut with confidence and smile when I walk into a room. I love the feeling! Looking forward to getting out there again soon!
Love,
Nicole
