It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Some names feel like a perfect fit from the start, while others never quite resonate with us.
However, crossdressers and transgender women have the unique opportunity to choose their own feminine names.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear YOURS.
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please tell us your story in the comments below, and if you can, share a photo too. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name!
Love,
Lucille
I got Robin since my real first name is Robert, but an astrologer named Alexis O’Toole. I had written to her she published in the earlier days of Transformation she did every sign except for Gemini which is my sign May into June & I was born on June 10th. She stated Robert wasn’t not good for a femme name so Robin when she replied to my letter. Jennifer because of Jennifer Love Hewitt & Jennifer Anniston. So since I go byJ Robin Jennifer or Robin Jenn. One of my good friends has a daughter Jenna Nicole so that also influenced me to use Jenn plus my middle name is Joseph so I thought about femme names starting with the letter J, so that is how I acquired my feme name.

My name came to me in a meditation. The last name is Chambers. As the meditation continued, there was also a bit of tongue in cheek, when I was told: “my friends call me CC.” It’s kind of funny, but I have not used CC, yet, at all. It may be interesting if and when she appears. We’ll see. Love to all. Hugs
I loved my name because I used to use the name Elizabeth Taylor online, but then I took the last name from a family I used to live with, Mason. my first name is always in devotion to those stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Delta Burke. Shows like Dallas, Designing Women.
I choose Jenna because I always loved it. I find it very alluring and so feminine and a little sexy!
I started with the male name Gary and when I let others know that I wasn’t going to be Gary any more they began calling me Gazz. At one of my sessions with my therapist she handed me my next appointment card y and it was made for Gina. She said I was more like a Gina now. My last name came from a show several years ago on the BBC called Red Dwarf. It had a janitor for the ship captain, a dead assine that was kept in the freezer. A robot whose only function was sex, and Lexx. She had been a ugly old cleaning woman who had fallen into a resexing machine and the lid slammed shut and locked her inside.. when she finally got out she had been turned into a Bimbo Barbie British version. So the name Lexx became Lexia. W
