It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Some names feel like a perfect fit from the start, while others never quite resonate with us.
However, crossdressers and transgender women have the unique opportunity to choose their own feminine names.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear YOURS.
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please tell us your story in the comments below, and if you can, share a photo too. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name!
Love,
Lucille
I love my name. A woman i once knew gave it to me.
Honestly, I just used the next vowel in line of my legal name. It works fine, and I’ll remember to answer to it. I think I got lucky there.
Hi Lucille. My female name came from 3 different directions. Kaycie came from my initials KC and a good friend, Kaye. My last name came from my mother’s maiden name. Also, thanks for the flat to fem ebook. It and you set me on a wonderful path. I have been on estradiol for 3 1/2 years. I have been doing progesterone for 3 months. I had an orchiectomy early last year. Lucille, thank you, thank you, thank you! Love and kisses, Kaycie.
my name is don.and my wife ask me what she should call me when I dress up. and we came up with donna.
I recently chose my feminine name to be Angela Renee, I love the sound of those two names together, sounds very feminine.
I always believe that feminine form of existing male name gives the maximum pleasure by giving the feel of feminization.
Like my name is Risha, from older male name Rishi.
I sometimes want to be called Riish, a non binary form.
For the longest time, I have only thought about what everyone would know me by, but as I grew older, I took another name…
My femme name is the female of my Male name. In the last few months, I realized I needed a last as well, I decided on Phoenix, a rebirth, as it were.. So now I use it…..Terri Phoenix
I like to read and one of my favorite authors is Pat Conroy. He has an incredible command of the English language. His prose is so beautiful that sometimes when I am reading a book of his, I read it out loud just to hear the beauty of the language. So I was proud to choose pat c as my femme name. Patsy. Or Patricia if i’m feeling formal 😉
In my early days dressing up i went by the name Kimmy , i found it a bit to young and cheap hihi.
Now for over 10 years i go by Sophie Lagroux.
It fits me and my personality .
Lagroux btw is my real surname
