It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Many of us grow into the names we are given at birth. Others never feel a connection to their name.
But crossdressers and transgender women have the unique advantage of being able to choose their feminine names.
There’s a unique story behind every great femme name… and I’d love to hear YOURS!
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please share your story in the comments below. And for extra credit, include a photo! It’s even better to be able to place a name to a face.

I needed a name to join a site and went with the first thing that came to mind. Jemma is close to my real name so will be easier to respond naturally to, and the surname is the name of the hospital I was born in! To add realism I often frown and inform that it is my ex-husbands name and I just don’t want to go through all the hassle of changing it after 25 years!

I’m a very feminine crossdresser very feminine. I look very feminine I love it. It turns me on. Everything I wear fits me write. I can be ur miss perfect. Hit me up.
Hey I’m Vanessa. I picked Vanessa because it’s a hot n very sexy feminine name. I just felt like Vannessa was perfect for me.
I picked my feminine names for two different reasons. Ms. Stacey Anne because of my Formal Southern Background & Ms. Missi which is a nickname I use to show others my Sissy Gurl Side
I too think the name chose me. Susan Sommers played the character Chrissy in the old sitcom Three’s Company. As a kid when I first saw her & heard her name it stuck something deep inside of me. I was jealous of how beautiful she & her name were. I wanted & needed to be that beautiful too. So now I am, or try to be in my own GNC way. Since my body is not very feminine, when I meet someone for the first time I get a kick at seeing how it screws with their expectations of what they expect my name might be.
I was playing a character with this name and it just felt very right when people addressed me as such.
Jane it just feels right
