A beautiful pair of shoes or high heels can instantly make you feel more feminine and attractive.
But do you struggle to find stylish women’s shoes in your size?
In this article, I share my top places to shop for shoes for trans women and crossdressers – particularly if your feet are US women’s size 13 or larger!
How to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes
But first, let’s talk about how to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes. This actually varies a lot from country to country.
In the US and Australia, there’s approximately a 2 size difference between men’s and women’s shoes.
To find your women’s shoe size, simply add 2 sizes to your usual men’s shoe size. For example, a men’s US size 11 would be women’s US size 13.
If you are in the UK, Europe, or Asia, things are much easier since there’s no difference between men’s and women’s shoe sizes.
However, regardless of the size, keep in mind that men’s and women’s shoes are shaped slightly differently. Men’s shoes are usually wider at the heels.
For that reason, I always recommend trying on shoes before you buy them, rather than relying on the numerical size alone.
Now that you know your shoe size, let’s go shopping!
Long Tall Sally
The ultimate shopping destination for tall women, Long Tall Sally offers large size women’s shoes up to a US size 15. This UK based e-commerce site offers service and shipping within the US, UK, EU, and Australia.

While Pleaser Shoes prides itself on being the leader in sexy footwear, they offer a range of styles – from sexy to classic and pinup to goth. Most importantly, they offer women’s shoes up to a size 16.

Hi could anybody help me out as to where I could try get shoes from as the last place I ordered my only pair of heels from has shut down I’m a UK size 13 but my heels are a 13eee so finding shoes to fit my feet is really hard any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I am size 9 in men and generally wear women’s 11. I am lucky enough to have them on routine shoe mall. Being heel addict I also find them at thrift stores. As I am ardent lover of mules, I pay special attention to my feet.
Lovlie. Red, shoozies!❤️
I use to love Payless when the stores were open. I have have really good luck lately finding shoes in thrift stores. i have found at least 3 brand new pair in them this year. Since i wear a 13/14 it is really have for me to find anything. Amazon is still the go to right now.
Here’s my sad situation: some toe loss from diabetic complications. So, I have been avoiding sandals, flip-flops, etc. But if I want to play in the water, I thought I would have to expose my unsightly toes. I could wear paddling slippers, but not in a pool. So, any suggestions on socks for the pool, and with sandals?
Thank You
I’d bet that the difference in sizes involves whether you wear socks. I wore a men’s size 9, and I currently wear a women’s size 10. I always wear dresses or skirts, and pantyhose rather than socks. I’m guessing that, if I wore socks, I’d need a women’s size 11.
When I exercise I wear 2 pairs of athletic socks in the summer and three in the winter. I need a women’s size 12 in the summer and 13 in the winter.
