Your personal style tells the world who you are as a crossdresser or transgender woman. Are you presenting yourself as the woman you want to be?
Your style is made up of a few key elements:
- Clothes
- Accessories
- Hair
- Makeup
Understanding and embracing your style “type” can help you avoid fashion blunders, like buying clothes that don’t match your personal vibe.
In this blog post, we’ll explore some common feminine style types that can inspire your own fashion look.
Classic
The Classic looks are all about timeless elegance. You gravitate toward clean lines and basic pieces without a lot of fluff or frills.
You like to keep things simple and prefer a coordinated look with matching colors. You are a lady in the truest sense of the word.
Bombshell
The Bombshell look exudes pure sexiness and femininity. Picture figure-hugging silhouettes and loads of glamour.
You love being the center of attention and won’t step out without full make-up, sexy hair, and towering heels.
Fashionista
The Fashionista look is highly dramatic, edgy, and experimental. You enjoy bold silhouettes and the most cutting-edge looks.
Your goal is to stand out, showcasing your originality and bold personality. You aim to turn heads with your statement-making outfits.
Bohemian/Romantic
The Bohemian/Romantic look is romantic with an eclectic twist. Think vintage fashions, ethnic details, and layered looks.
You love ruffles, flounces, appliqués and fringes. Floaty dresses and boots are your go-to essentials. You like to be feminine and earthy at the same time.

Fashionista – I like being slightly “out-there-stylish”. I like showing my legs since they are my best feature, but since I am 45 I do it with long slits instead of short skirts. I love big ball gowns, long formal form-fitting gowns, short dressy dresses. I love posing for the camera.
My preference is the classic look. I chose that because the women I admire dress themselves in the classic form. Another reason I follow the classic form is that passing is so much easier when I look well, yet still don’t draw attention to myself as a celebrity. Looking as a well-respected woman feels good.
definately classic but more slutty at night!!!
Hi Lucille, its been a while sence I’ve written sorry so bussy, my gender change from a boy to a girl is coming along very well as you see my new update photo here in, I am at the Mazzoni center here in Philadelphia, Pa with my new doctor Dr. Win he has had me on a very powerful female hormone called Estradiol 1cc injection very 2 weeks God I feel like my but is giving out with the pain lol.
Tracie
Hi Lucille~! This is the first time I’ve commented, and I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do~! :o) I feel so daunted…lol. But anyway, I am definitely at least 80% classic, I would say, with a dash of bohemian in me. However I do love bright colors, but not in a tacky kind of way. :o) I love something a bit closer to what Jennifer Aniston in the first group is wearing.^^
On another note, I think I am in a similar boat with Jerri Heinitz up there. I am definitely taking it slow and just focusing on being me, whatever that may be or express as. :o)

Dressing in women’s clothes is still very new to me (no real idea what I am doing) and the picture is the clothes I bought for a Rocky Horror Picture Show which I am going as a way to get out in the town around people who also dress like this.
This is all very new to me, as you can see I haven’t chosen a women’s name yet and my day to day fashion sense really stinks. If anyone wants to take a few minutes to offer advice I would greatly appreciate it. My email is Mitty140@gmail.com
Thanks!
