Your personal style tells the world who you are as a crossdresser or transgender woman. Are you presenting yourself as the woman you want to be?
Your style is made up of a few key elements:
- Clothes
- Accessories
- Hair
- Makeup
Understanding and embracing your style “type” can help you avoid fashion blunders, like buying clothes that don’t match your personal vibe.
In this blog post, we’ll explore some common feminine style types that can inspire your own fashion look.
Classic
The Classic looks are all about timeless elegance. You gravitate toward clean lines and basic pieces without a lot of fluff or frills.
You like to keep things simple and prefer a coordinated look with matching colors. You are a lady in the truest sense of the word.
Bombshell
The Bombshell look exudes pure sexiness and femininity. Picture figure-hugging silhouettes and loads of glamour.
You love being the center of attention and won’t step out without full make-up, sexy hair, and towering heels.
Fashionista
The Fashionista look is highly dramatic, edgy, and experimental. You enjoy bold silhouettes and the most cutting-edge looks.
Your goal is to stand out, showcasing your originality and bold personality. You aim to turn heads with your statement-making outfits.
Bohemian/Romantic
The Bohemian/Romantic look is romantic with an eclectic twist. Think vintage fashions, ethnic details, and layered looks.
You love ruffles, flounces, appliqués and fringes. Floaty dresses and boots are your go-to essentials. You like to be feminine and earthy at the same time.

I dress country. Tall boots tight jeans and a boho top. Summer is Daisy Dukes and tank tops sandals or bare foot.
I love the country look. You look so western. I could see you as a cute ranch girl. Get yourself a cowgirl hat to top that look! Me and my partner at a horse ranch in N. California. -Lulu
LA has got be the best place to shop for western style wear. Long printed yellow top, white denim mini skirt, and brown cowgirl boots. Out and about in the park in Waikiki, after dinner and a movie with my girlfriend this weekend. Love and aloha -Lulu
I don’t have a ranch myself. My companion has two horses she boards at a ranch in Eureka California. I got dressed up in cowgirl fashion as she drove to LA. Little dicey at a highway rest stop to use a crowded men’s room. Had to laugh at the stares from all the men standing in line. I waved my hand, smiled, and with my best feminine voice I said, “Hi guys!” Boy, oh boy, and I thought I looked scared. That was fun. Love and aloha -Lulu.
You look nice. I am an artist and met the owner of a western store who loves my work and will trade. I see lots of assessories in the future.
What kind of ranch do you have?
I have been dressing up for long and going out to.. try to dress up in a fashion that boobs and bra straps are visible and people are not able to make out.. pls comment..
I hear you clearly on that one. Honolulu is more accepting than other places but all it takes is one incident to crush your confidence. Wish you well as you push the boundaries where you live. Halloween was fun in Waikiki. Pretty much anything goes on Halloween. I got to dress up with friends. I feel encouraged each time I step out. Had my makeup artist friend come over and put a face on for me. Love and aloha -Lulu
I don’t see any visible bra straps on your outfit. If you’re wearing a bra and your top is snug, you’re going to show straps through your clothes. You can mask that by wearing a top with a pattern. Or wear a slightly lower cut top and let the lace edge of your bra show a little bit. No one will notice straps. Love and aloha -Lulu
thanks dear,
ur comments are very encouraging and i will definitely explore my feminine side as much as i can despite the barriers which are so many here..

Taking care to assure that lipstick stays where it’s suppose to, on your lips! There’s nothing like drinking a beer from a straw. Great combo skirt and top. You even matched your eye shadow with your skirt, dark hair with dark top. Good balance. You go girl! I’m still waiting for some nice fella to buy me a drink. -Lulu
Great dress! Most definitely classy. You have your appearance so perfectly done. I’m jealous. -Lulu
Gosh I love the cream chiffon dress in the classic style category …its stunning …yay !
This was me at Atlanta SFCC.
You look lovely in your pics.
Thank you!
I would say I am a classic bombshell, with a hint of of pin up thrown in. I usually go for more vintage styles, but I do love some of the club dresses too.
