Your personal style tells the world who you are as a crossdresser or transgender woman. Are you presenting yourself as the woman you want to be?
Your style is made up of a few key elements:
- Clothes
- Accessories
- Hair
- Makeup
Understanding and embracing your style “type” can help you avoid fashion blunders, like buying clothes that don’t match your personal vibe.
In this blog post, we’ll explore some common feminine style types that can inspire your own fashion look.
Classic
The Classic looks are all about timeless elegance. You gravitate toward clean lines and basic pieces without a lot of fluff or frills.
You like to keep things simple and prefer a coordinated look with matching colors. You are a lady in the truest sense of the word.
Bombshell
The Bombshell look exudes pure sexiness and femininity. Picture figure-hugging silhouettes and loads of glamour.
You love being the center of attention and won’t step out without full make-up, sexy hair, and towering heels.
Fashionista
The Fashionista look is highly dramatic, edgy, and experimental. You enjoy bold silhouettes and the most cutting-edge looks.
Your goal is to stand out, showcasing your originality and bold personality. You aim to turn heads with your statement-making outfits.
Bohemian/Romantic
The Bohemian/Romantic look is romantic with an eclectic twist. Think vintage fashions, ethnic details, and layered looks.
You love ruffles, flounces, appliqués and fringes. Floaty dresses and boots are your go-to essentials. You like to be feminine and earthy at the same time.

I guess I’m a bit more of a risque` bombshell type. But anyway, thank gawd for you and your site Lucille. You have been an inspiration for many. I am so glad we are friends. 🙂
I don’t have a recent photo but this is who I am. I have short hair now and mostly wear old coveralls but the happiest feeling is when in the store the salesperson will say “how can I help you ladies today.”
Just pic for now.
Great site! Thanks for having a place where we can go learn so much.
I ha ve learned to dress down a lot like so many women today. Of course if it’s a picnic, a dance, a date, a play, a restaurant I do like to dress in something no one’s ever seen and I do dress up a bit for those occassions. As you can see I also like to shoot pool and what girl could ever resist a photo on top of the table.
I am the founder of SISTERS FAMILY, a place where I help New Girls to “think outside of the closet” and it has been successful for 3 years now. I am also a Tgirl model and actress and hopefully you will see me on the screen soon enough as I have starred in a fair share of Independent Films, Fashion Shows, and now with my own Local Cable Access show called BOTTOMS UP WITH ASHLEY BOTTOMS…!!!
You can be who you want to be, the question is, are you willing to do what is necessary to get there…??? Not just with Tgirl issues, but with all things in life, this holds true…embrace who you are and let everyone know that no matter what happens, they cannot take that away from you…I believe in ALL of you…!!!

See you on the airwaves…

I will try another picture and see if in this one I don’t appear to have had my head removed…then again…it might be appropriate for this Halloween season.
Lucille,
Your helpful site is wonderfully constructed with an abundance of helpful information. Your help is tremendously needed and greatly appreciated by our community.
I would definitely fit into the classic catagory. When I am out in public, I want to be noticed but only to the point of being appreciated a classy woman who cares about her appearance. I refuse to go shopping wearing flip-flop, sweat pants, and a baggy tee shirt. I will wear jeans and a tee but they will be flattering. I will take time to wear appropriately nice shoes, complimentary jewelry, and I will look like I took time to brush my hair and put on some light makeup. Even casual dress can be feminine and stylish.
