What’s even more exciting than getting dolled up as a crossdresser or transgender woman?
Uncovering beauty tricks and tools that can make you look even more fabulous!
Sure, you might have the basics like lipstick, mascara, and hairspray…
But there’s a whole world of beauty innovations and unique products that can transform anyone from so-so to stunning.
Keep reading to explore 10 must-try beauty products for your male to female transformation or transition!
1. LED Face Mask
For amazing skin benefits, look no further than an LED face mask. It’s a simple beauty device that uses different LED lights to target skin issues like acne, redness, and wrinkles.
If aging is your main concern, look for a mask with red and near infrared lights to stimulate collagen production and reduce wrinkles.
2. Press On Nails
Get feminine fingernails without the hassle! Press on nails, such as Kiss Nails, are the perfect solution if you can’t grow out your nails or don’t want to pay for an expensive manicure.
These artificial nails are easy to apply with glue or adhesive and come in a variety of sizes to fit most hands.
3. Fiber Mascara
For stunning lashes without the fuss of false eyelashes, try fiber mascara. These mascaras contain tiny fibers that act like extensions, giving you dramatically longer and fuller lashes effortlessly.
Check out budget-friendly options like Covergirl The Super Sizer Fibers Mascara and Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies Mascara.
4. Dry Shampoo
One beauty product I can’t live without is dry shampoo. Not only is it great for keeping hair fresh and clean between washings, it also adds volume, making hair look thicker.
Dry shampoo can also be applied to synthetic wigs that are too shiny, giving them a more natural look. I recommend Batiste dry shampoo, available at any drugstore.
5. Color Corrector
If you struggle with issues like a beard shadow, under eye circles, or acne, then a color corrector palette is a must.
Rather than caking on heavy concealer, use a color corrector to neutralize skin imperfections. This allows you to achieve a natural and feminine look with less makeup.
6. Facial Mask
Soft, supple skin helps your makeup go on smoother and makes you look younger, prettier, and more feminine.
One of the best ways to care for your skin is to use a weekly face mask. Look for a cream, clay or sheet mask that is suited for your skin type (dry, oily, combination, etc.
7. Satin Pillowcase
Did you know that sleeping on a normal pillowcase can cause facial creases and hair tangles? You can solve all of that by using a satin pillowcase to protect your skin and hair.
As an added bonus, you’ll feel like a real life Sleeping Beauty every time you turn in for bed.
8. Lip Plumper
Lush, full lips are a must for every crossdresser and transgender woman. One of the quickest and easiest ways to plump your pout is to use a lip plumper.
Look for lip plumpers containing nourishing ingredients like hyaluronic acid or peptides, and avoid those with potentially drying ingredients like cinnamon or cayenne. (My favorite is Sublime Lips Manuka Honey Lip Plumper.)
9. Whitening Eye Drops
Don’t overlook the whites of your eyes! Dull or bloodshot eyes can make you look tired, older, or even ill.
For a temporary fix, try LUMIFY drops which help eyes look whiter and brighter without the “rebound redness” effect that can happen with other drops.
10. Salux Nylon Washcloth
If you shave or wax your body, regular exfoliation is essential to prevent those pesky and unattractive ingrown hairs.
For this purpose, I highly recommend the Salux nylon washcloth from Japan. These washcloths offer effective exfoliation while being gentle and non-abrasive, leaving your skin incredibly soft and smooth.

Is it okay to use the dry shampoo on wigs? Or is that not advisable?
Hi Cynthia, great question! Dry shampoo tends to leave residue on the mesh part of the wig, so it’s generally not advisable.
Thank you.
Hi
Thank you for the suggestions. I have not tried those suction cups but ai have found that a shot glass will do the same just becareful not to suck your lips up into it too hard or it will leave a mark.
I like use a moisturizer base I think it’s L’Oréal magic perfecting base. Even if you apply no other makeup it makes your skin smoother and covers pores really well and you can get it in Ulta.last thing and I hope it’s okay to do this hear. I have been watching you tube makeup videos from Joseph Harwood. I think his techniques and hair and makeup tips are great plus he is just a wonderful person( I’m not misgendering him) I think he identifies as he, but he does himself with beautiful feminine effects.
Great tips! Thank you for sharing!

I’m 70, and my hair is thinning. Fortunately, I’m not at the wig stage, but I pass well with hair, and the more the better. So thank you so much for the Batiste suggestion. I’m 43 years post-op, married to a wonderful man, but I still follow you and your “secrets”. You do fine work for the community at large, and are inclusive to anyone. I think your business is wonderful, and I admire us women who don’t go with the herd. My web site is http://www.jessicawilliams.com — my successful business of 21 years, and they’re still coming! Thank you again from my heart.
Hi Jessica, what a pleasant surprise to visit your website and discover your beautiful music! I love jazz piano. I just purchased your Solo Compositions album and can’t wait to receive it.
Hi, Lucille
Thank you very much for your new advices. But in the area where I live there are another beauty products in the most favorite female shops Girlfriend and A smile of Rainbow. So as a lip plumper I usually use Hyaluron Lip Push Up by Eveline cosmetics. It’s very effective. And in depilation I prefer Veet Silk@Fresh Technology. It works very good and elegently.
Those are great tips! Thanks Margo!

I’ve always skipped the mascara, because My favorite part of the transformation is gluing on some HUGE lashes and batting them in front of the mirror! Halloween type costume lashes add a noticeably feminine touch for large sized people
