I’ve observed that many crossdressers and transgender women recognize their gender identity at a young age. For some, it’s an early realization, while for others, it unfolds later in life.
I’m curious about your experience…
When did you first realize you were female or had a feminine side? Was this something you felt as a child, or did it develop over time?
I’d love to hear your story! Feel free share your thoughts in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille

My mom started dressing me at the age of 2 because she always wanted a daughter and she had me go to school dressed as a girl and i really thought that i was a girl from 2 to age 8. then my mom told me i can’t do that no more but i continued to dress in my room and with the help of my 2 younger sisters they told me i wish i could have been there older sister. Now that i am 52 i continue to dress all the time and with the help of your flat to femme i am now growing my own breasts…thank you so much

i knew at age 8,,i was always wearing my sisters clothes
I realized I had more of a feminine side when I was roughly 18-19 about a year or so ago, when I went to great lengths to grow my hair out and put it in a pony tail not to mention the fact I had secretly been gathering a small collection of woman’s clothing to wear when no one was home. Though I always disliked seeing guys with short hair since the beginning of high school or for that matter guys who embraced being macho, with a passion. Which until recently I didn’t know was ok, that people would support not shun me for pursuing my ideals in order to become more how I wanted.
Hi .
I started at about age 10 . It was stockings and garters back then . I wore my sisters and only got cought once by her. My mother cought me about ten times and never said much about it.Got married and told my wife after we were married she was ok with it. stoped when I was in the military. now at age 55 I dress every day if I can and my wife has bought all my clothes. Now that is a loving wife.

You have noooo idea (maybe you do) how lucky lucky lucky you are to have a wife like that!!!
Earlest I can remember around 5 years old, I convinced the babysitter to dress me in the pretty pink floral PJ’s and that my sister uses the ones with the cars and trucks on them. It was the only way she could get me to bed. Of course I blamed the babysitter the next morning when my mom asked me why i was wearing them. Tina
I first realized I was a girl at about 2 1/2 according to my mother’s recollections. She let me dress in some of her clothing from when she was a girl that she saved from the 20’s. I played with her baby doll and told her I was her mommy. I have been feminine in thought while trying to be a guy as well- very difficult to be sure -walking on both sides of the gender line our society has drawn for us.
As far back as I can remember 3 years old maybe younger . As soon as i got home from school .
I would put on my sisters red cotton panties and a dress ,mary janes . I got into a fight in the first grade .When i wore her coat to school . I wore girl gym shoes . 39 years now ive been wearing panties fulltime painting my and plucking my brows. I’ve just got the ok to start Hormone Therapy
I have known since I was six, prrobably earlier but I can’t remember much before that age. It first came out when I played dress up with my sister, and putting on fashion shows for my mom. Since then the feelings have gotten stronger and harder to deny until after years of denial I finally accepted it
