Who doesn’t adore glamorous and elegant women? What if you could be one too?
Whether you are a crossdresser or a transgender woman, I think we can all agree that life is better with a little glam and sparkle.
The best part? It doesn’t have to break the bank. In this article, I share 8 easy ways to be an elegant crossdresser or trans woman. Let’s dive in!
1. Red Lipstick Magic
Nothing says elegance like classic red lipstick. It can transform the most casual outfit from basic to bombshell.
If you don’t already own a red lipstick, go out and buy one today!
2. Silk Pillowcase Bliss
Sleeping on a silk pillowcase will make you feel like sleeping beauty – but it also has important beauty benefits.
A silk pillowcase reduces hair breakage and helps prevent face wrinkles.
3. Glam Manicure
Look at any glamorous woman and I guarantee that she has pretty, well-groomed nails. Try easy-to-apply imPRESS nails for instant chic.
4. Smooth, Feminine Skin
There’s nothing like the feel of freshly shaved or waxed skin. Taking the time to remove body hair can go a long towards making you feel extra feminine – and glamorous!
For extra help in this area, be sure to check out my article on MTF Hair Removal: 5 Mistakes to Avoid (Transgender / Crossdressing Guide).
5. Elegant Etiquette
Elegance isn’t just about the way you look – it’s the way you act and conduct yourself, too. Manners and proper etiquette are important.
If you need to brush up on these skills, be sure to check out my article on Trans / Crossdressing Training: 6 Etiquette Tips for Your Female Transformation.
6. Hydrate Glamorously
Drinking 8 glasses of water per day helps keep your skin and body looking their best. So why not make it a glam experience?
Drink your water from a beautiful crystal goblet and add a slice of cucumber or some strawberries.
7. Signature Perfume
No glamorous woman is fully dressed without perfume.
Try a classic glam scent like Chanel No 5 – or choose your own signature fragrance. The important thing is that it makes YOU feel beautiful.
8. Musical Glamour
Your mood is the biggest glam factor, so enhance it with glamorous music.
Even if it’s not your usual style, let yourself be transported by the sultry sounds of Billie Holiday or Ella Fitzgerald.

I really love this site, have been visiting for a few years now. It has helped me in being my most glamorous self, even when I’m not, I still just love being, and this site has allowed me to accept that we are just who we are. So lots of love to everyone that visits here as well as Lucille. Great site. Sending some pics along as well, nowhere near celeb status, but in the time I’ve been hear, amazing evolution. But I will let you decide. Thank you!
1: I have used red as my main shade of lipstick since my teen years and now I am in my 60s. I do have a few shades of pink but red has been my main color.
2: I do not have a silk pillow case but I do use good quality linens.
3: My beautician is my manicurist and does my pedicures as well as my hair. She knows what I really am even though I live as a woman. I was honest with her from the start. She has a one operator salon and does it all. The rest of her female customers think that I am a real cis woman. I try to see her every couple of weeks but in between I touch up my nails myself.
I have used a different brands of press on nails but I have not tried that brand.
4: I do exfoliate head to toe with bath soap or feminine body wash and a luffa.
5: I did attend a special girls finishing school years ago for a month, ‘special’ meaning trans girls. There was 16 of us girls and we had to remain as a girl the whole time and we each received a graduation certificate and a party upon completion. We were taught everything feminine including tampon training. Manners and acting like ladies was taught to us too.
6: I do drink a lot of water but I do not have a crystal goblet. I do have wine glasses and I can start using tulip glasses that are used for white wine and blushes. I do leave my lipstick prints on glasses.
7: I do wear Giorgio perfume and another called WOMAN. I like the Giorgio scent better but I like the name of WOMAN and switch back and forth.
8: My music is mostly soft rock, jazz, blues and club music for dancing. I also like R&B.
Dear Lucille
The blog is my inspiration every week. My 3 equal favourites of the tips given this time around (all of which I intend to put into practice imminently) are; the seductive perfume, buying + sleeping on a silk pillowcase, and sporting luscious red lipstick.
Thank you. Richard
I brought myself red lipstick and red nail polish. It helps you the inner woman feel beautiful. I found wearing panties help too.
Hi,I luv wearing red lipstick & getting all dolled up,I feel so Glam & sexy, also very confident,I also luv painting my nails in all sorts of colors. Thank u.
HAILEY…..
Oh, I LOVE those tips! Especially the silk pillow and the crystal goblet. I keep seeing advice to wear lipstick which complements one’s natural color, not always a bold one. But hey, I’m with you girl, red, is THE color. I’m glamorous inside, even though the package doesn’t always show it. And sometimes a little glamor actually peeps through. Yippee!
So, how am I doing with the glam look? (2 years ago for a special ‘Two Years Out’ anniversary.)
I brought red lipstick and nail polish and also pink lipstick and nail polish. They do make the inner woman very happy.
