Who doesn’t adore glamorous and elegant women? What if you could be one too?
Whether you are a crossdresser or a transgender woman, I think we can all agree that life is better with a little glam and sparkle.
The best part? It doesn’t have to break the bank. In this article, I share 8 easy ways to be an elegant crossdresser or trans woman. Let’s dive in!
1. Red Lipstick Magic
Nothing says elegance like classic red lipstick. It can transform the most casual outfit from basic to bombshell.
If you don’t already own a red lipstick, go out and buy one today!
2. Silk Pillowcase Bliss
Sleeping on a silk pillowcase will make you feel like sleeping beauty – but it also has important beauty benefits.
A silk pillowcase reduces hair breakage and helps prevent face wrinkles.
3. Glam Manicure
Look at any glamorous woman and I guarantee that she has pretty, well-groomed nails. Try easy-to-apply imPRESS nails for instant chic.
4. Smooth, Feminine Skin
There’s nothing like the feel of freshly shaved or waxed skin. Taking the time to remove body hair can go a long towards making you feel extra feminine – and glamorous!
For extra help in this area, be sure to check out my article on MTF Hair Removal: 5 Mistakes to Avoid (Transgender / Crossdressing Guide).
5. Elegant Etiquette
Elegance isn’t just about the way you look – it’s the way you act and conduct yourself, too. Manners and proper etiquette are important.
If you need to brush up on these skills, be sure to check out my article on Trans / Crossdressing Training: 6 Etiquette Tips for Your Female Transformation.
6. Hydrate Glamorously
Drinking 8 glasses of water per day helps keep your skin and body looking their best. So why not make it a glam experience?
Drink your water from a beautiful crystal goblet and add a slice of cucumber or some strawberries.
7. Signature Perfume
No glamorous woman is fully dressed without perfume.
Try a classic glam scent like Chanel No 5 – or choose your own signature fragrance. The important thing is that it makes YOU feel beautiful.
8. Musical Glamour
Your mood is the biggest glam factor, so enhance it with glamorous music.
Even if it’s not your usual style, let yourself be transported by the sultry sounds of Billie Holiday or Ella Fitzgerald.

Hi – I think a girl can be glamorous just blending in like any other woman out there! I just try to emulate women I see. Here I am just wearing tights like a lot of women wear when shopping. I just want to be treated like any other lady would without bringing attention to myself, but still being as feminine as I can. Just me! This was me yesterday. Also, being 75, I try to dress appropriately, or as best I can!
Hugs, Suzy
Oooops, here is my photo. Thanks, Suzy
Just wanted to say hello to all the beautiful ladies leaving their posts.
HELLO
Hi all -I follow pretty much all of Lucille’s tips with the exception of drinking from a goblet! I live my life now since I’m retired pretty much 24/7 as a woman now. I just try to blend in as any other woman and be as feminine as I can. Here I am last week getting ready to go out to dinner with some friends at a nice intimate restaurant that also had late night dancing. I actually had a man who asked me to dance! It was heaven! What do you think of this 75 year old gal? Have fun, hugs, Suzy
Fabulous. You’re an inspiration to this 73 year old
Thank You, Lucille, SO MUCH, for adding the YouTube link to Billie Holiday! Not only is it rich and beautiful (glamorous), but the sidebar contains other links to a whole GALAXY of similar material, which cascade into other sidebars and their links. Oh, Joy!
As an aged ptitsa I can be dowdy, but neither too much nor often. I like to look interesting and nice, even if the attention might expose my trans self. A big YES to red lipstick! It can even be visible as masks are off at times. The satin pillowcase is appealing, gotta get one. So sorry about not so much nails care, a dead giveaway. Even after several years, it is still a mega joy to be a WOMAN. I enjoy glam sometimes, but if it’s too often, your public might get blase, so it’s best as an occasional treat for them. A neat compromise is one or two glamorous items in your ensemble. I sometimes use a scent, Odyssey, which often makes men more gallant. Heady, heady…
Not exactly “glamorous” having worked all day but you get the idea I guess
I really love wearing red lipstick. It makes me feel very pretty and feminine. I feel very glamorous when I’m wearing red lipstick. Thank you very much for the tips.
just got my stitches out yesterday. finished FFS. voice left to go. “Angel the Assassin” about a trans woman, recruted by the CIA, travels around the world as a woman, does her assassinations as a man escapes as a woman. falls in love with 2 women on two contintinents, and has 2 familys just released on audio…also e book, paperback, and hardback
Why can’t I Google “Angel the Assassin”? A search produces similar names, even a porn site, but nothing matches exactly.
Congratulations on your surgery.
