Are you as addicted to online shopping as I am?
There’s no denying the convenience… Plus, opening packages makes every day feel like Christmas! What’s not to love?
In this post, I’ve rounded up the top MTF online shopping sites – including 12 trans and crossdressing stores for clothes, lingerie, shoes, breast forms, makeup and more.
While I included many retailers that cater specifically to transgender women and crossdressers, you don’t have to limit yourself there. Loads of mass market sites offer amazing finds for your female self as well.
On that note, let’s go shopping!
1. The Breast Form Store
The Breast Form Store is the ultimate superstore dedicated to breast forms and related accessories. They also have international sites based in the UK, Australia, Germany, Japan, and the Netherlands.

A great source for trendy and affordable plus size clothing and wide width women’s shoes. Torrid also gets high marks from our readers for its helpful, trans-friendly staff.

Previously known as Suddenly Fem, En Femme offers clothing, lingerie, and shapers specifically constructed for the crossdresser and trans woman.

Buying online is fun and easy. It also saves us from the anxiety of shopping for women’s apparel while we’re feeling unpassable or in male mode. However, sometimes the shipping costs can be a bit much. Especially if you live outside of the continental mainland. So I shop at thrift stores. I’ve found many items that were new and in popular brands.
I am surprised that herroom.com was not rated higher. In addition to a vast selection of undergarments and related items, their educational and sizing material is outstanding. I don’t know of any site that does it better.
While I have purchased a few items in the past from SHEIN, NoraCora and the like, they are now off my list. The sizing is all over the map, the materials are thin and don’t seem to be very durable. If you look at a number of these sites, their page layout and products appear to be similar. Makes me wonder if they are just offshoots of the same company. Also, the sizing is crazy. If you do buy from them, KNOW YOUR MEASUREMENTS!
Probably at least 80% my wardrobe came from thrift stores, online and in person. In person, I recommend SAVERS. They started out in Canada and also have stores in the US and Australia. They partner with a charity in a given area and pay the charity for the items donated and then they sell them. I’ve been in SAVERS here in California and in Arizona, Ohio and New York State. They are all laid out essentially the same and the designated categories are the same. I also like it because they arrange clothing by size and not by color. To me it is a waste of time to shop by color! Their dressing rooms are unisex, if that is a concern. Note that in some locations they use the name Value Village or Village des Valeurs.
Online, Etsy gets my nod over Poshmark. Etsy vendors are much more likely to include measurements. Too many Poshmark folks are under the delusion that there is such a thing as women’s clothing size standards. There isn’t. It is not consistent from one manufacturer to the next and sometimes even within the same manufacturer. I’ve gotten to the point that I have to be REALLY interested in an item to ask about measurements if they are not included in a Poshmark listing. I’ve also seen many Poshmark listings where the vendor has not responded to questions in over a year. That being the case, they don’t deserve my money…
Janet’s Closet is a cheap place to shop if you want to wear the item once or twice don’t waste your money ladies.
I’m 5’4″, 130 pounds, so I guess that I’m lucky. I pretty much know what to (and what not to) buy, so I can save a lot of money shopping at regular stores. I use an “add 2 cup sizes” bra, so I don’t need bra pads. Wearing my belt snug gives a nice definition to my waist, and keeps me from overeating. 🙂
Torrid.com for me, dears.
I love thrift stores! Goodwill has an online shopping mode. I don’t know anything about it, but their website is
Powell’s Books is amazing! They have an LGBT section in their stores, so should also online. Their site is https://www.powells.com/
Amazon is universal and has bargains, but I avoid (despise) them for their greedy, predatory marketing practices, and treating their employees like dirt.
Yes, Aliexpress, and ebay, are great resources.
You can always get thrift store items at really low prices. Take a chance if they seem about right. If they don’t work, some stores will accept returns, or since you didn’t pay much, just donate them back. You will learn quickly what works.
The panties from a bikini set are usually sturdy, can do a good job of tucking, and they are fun!
