Have you noticed that all stunning women have one thing in common – besides their killer looks? It’s CONFIDENCE.
Confidence is also half the battle of passing or blending in as a woman. That’s why the best MTF advice I can give you is to develop your confidence!
Of course, I understand that it’s easier said than done. That’s why in this blog post, I share 3 ways to feel more confident as a crossdresser or transgender woman – starting right now!
1. Stop Criticizing Yourself
How can you expect to feel confident if you constantly put yourself down?
Most of us are so used to criticizing ourselves that we don’t even realize we’re doing it. It’s a bad habit – but like all bad habits, it can be broken.
The first step to stopping the cycle is to interrupt your thoughts. If you catch yourself beating yourself up, literally tell yourself to STOP.
Next, find a way to reframe your thoughts into something more positive. Remind yourself that you’re doing the best you can with what you have. Look for progress rather than perfection.
This might sound like simple advice, but it works if you actually do it.
2. Step Outside Your Comfort Zone
Confidence is like a muscle. If you don’t use it, you’ll lose it. And just like your muscles, it’s something you can develop and improve.
One of the best ways to develop confidence is to take action. You’ll never build confidence if you stay in your comfort zone and do the same things you’ve always done.
So get out there and try something new! Take a few risks! For example, step out with painted toenails, book a makeup lesson, or join a crossdressing or transgender Meetup.
Once you do, you’ll be amazed at how confident you start to feel in situations that once terrified you.
3. Celebrate Your Successes
Appreciating your accomplishments is another great way to increase your confidence.
It’s easy to focus on the areas that still need improving, but don’t lose sight of how far you’ve come.
What risks did you take today? What did you do well? No matter how small, start to recognize these and celebrate them.
More confidence boosters
Confidence is one of the most important feminine qualities you can develop. These tips are a great starting point.

I put on my 42b bra today and a cotton shirt that showed my boobs standing tall and even my nipples were visible and went out, scared to death!! I went in. Krogers where. I shop all the time and and walked thrust the store.. I got a few stares but while. I was looking at some items a guy stepped around me saying, ” pardon me ma’m which totally surprised me… But. I smiled at him and thanked him, but. I really wanted him to feel my girls!! What a day!!
to me (and seldom mentioned) is to use the ladies room when out and not to skulk about but to use the sink and mirror afterward no matter how many women are there. do that a few times and your confidence will soar
Hi Emily –
I agree 100% with you. I’ve even had conversations with women while in the ladies room! As you can see as I am dressed, going to the men’s restroom would not be a good idea! Hugs, Suzy
This week i have been on vacation did not go anywhere but ever other day i went out dressed up. In skirts, shorts, bra, panties, heels, thigh highs and makeup. i also purchased a chastity device to keep it where it belongs locked up. i can wear it throughout the day but do not sleep in it. i do like it a lot and so far no discomfort.
So right. I stopped at toco bell today, a man complimented me on how I was put together. One compliment goes a long way. Oh, just finished my new book “The Red Bitch’s Revenge”, working on “Angel the Assassin” About a transsexual M to F CIA assassin.
Now at the age of 72, I am extremely confident in myself. I go everywhere as a woman.

I have been out in public since the 1960’s. Getting out 2-3 × per month. LOTS of girlfriends here to go out with. Getting harder every year to maintain the GIRLISH FIGURE!!
Love later 40’s, 50’s look.
Sending a few pics for your evaluation.

Gorgeous!!
Hi ladies – I feel super confident now when I am out presenting as a female. Now that I’m retired, I live almost 24/7 now as a woman and never have any issues. As a matter of fact today, I was out all day shopping and doing stuff, and was always referred to as miss, ma’am, etc. I also think as we get older, for some reason for me, I just get more feminine. I’m 73. I am also lucky to only be 5’6” and about 150 lbs. Again, the key for me is just to blend in and look and act like any other normal woman out there, and everything will be fine. Here I am the other day out shopping. What do you think?
Suzy Q…
You are Always Adorable!
We 73 year olds have to continue to Represent!

Hi Suzy, you look lovely as usual, I’ve seen you so many times now on this screen I feel I almost know you. Coincidently I leave England for New York tomorrow for a two week vacation, you never know I might just bump into you in Macys!
Bye for now,
Robyn x
Thanks Robyn – I love shopping at Macy’s! The sales ladies always are so helpful when I’m there. I always go shopping en femme and they always treat me as just another lady out shopping! So much fun!
Take care, hugs, Suzy

WELCOME TO the rest of us in our 70’s !!
I turn 73 next month….
Been out in public since the 1960’s. Very confident, dressing over 50 yrs. Tougher now to slide into my 100% nylon stockings. Love all my heels, but looking at going to the 3″ now.
ENJOY Being You!

Lovely presentation, Suzy!
I am 72, and (thru great effort) now weigh 155. I agree that it is *so* much easier to go out #enfemme. I merely act like a lady of a certain age, and nobody seems to notice.
My most recent adventure was to fly to Southern Comfort in Ft Lauderdale dressed. Best story: I was standing on the rental car transit bus, struggling with luggage, and a sweet young man offered me his seat. His offer was so gallant that I couldn’t refuse.
Continued enjoyment in the female world!
