Traveling opens up new perspectives and can be especially freeing if you’re a crossdresser or transgender woman.
When you take a trip, it’s a chance to express your feminine self without the routines and expectations of everyday life.
Being your true self in a fresh, unfamiliar place can feel incredibly empowering!
Considering all the benefits of taking a transgender or crossdressing vacation, I’d love to know: Do YOU travel en femme?
Take my poll and share your MTF travel experiences or dreams in the comments!
Love,
Lucille

I travel in Fem quite a bit never have had a problem , I use my male ID and nothing is ever said , your ID has to match the ticket so just be proud of who you are and confident about why and what you’re doing and all will go well… I enjoy traveling in fem I spend most of my time that way so it’s natural… Rochelle
I travel dressed mostly as a male but wear jewelry and makeup

I just love traveling, and once a year a month trip to some far away place.
Before my name change it was awkward traveling enfemme, especially for family visits to the US, and I didn’t feel really comfortable when confronted with my male name than.
But now it feels normal and better.
The TSA has seen it all and makes their policy regarding the transgendered quite clear. Your ID should match the name on your ticket. You can dress like Ronald McDonald as long as it matches. I flew from LAX to Boston and back en femme as Gordon in January of this year and had no problem. When my legal name change is complete I will travel as Shirley. When it comes to law enforcement the rule is simple, don’t try to fake them out. Being honest is your best bet.
I’ve only been dressed en femme one time outside my bedroom when I participated in a drag poetry slam. I wore the entire outfit including lingerie that a woman would wear, but had flip flops on my stocking feet, since I couldn’t get into a pair of heels.
I wore a pair of black lace panties, matching black bra, black panty hose, a black nylon waist cincher, a black half slip, and a dark gray woolen dress with a belted waist over all that. I also wore a black wig, full makeup, perfume, and a veil over my face to hide the facial hair(moustache). Until I opened my mouth with my deep bass voice no one recognized me. I was a sight! Won a prize for that outfit then.
I have as much as I could get away with without outing myself. Heels, panties, bra, stockings, and skirt. Appearing male to fellow drivers, but feminine if you looked inside the car closely. Did get to travel totally enfem locally dressed as a cowgirl for Halloween one year, I loved it.
Too bad I was so scared earlier in life and actually care what others thought and didn’t pursue my own heart and deep-seated feelings. I hope this helps others find the knob on the closet door.
Bless you all.
I often go on business trip as a male. But as soon as I get into my hotel after the working day, I change my clothes and I go out en femme for the evening. It’s quite funny seeing the face of the people in the lobby who noticed me entering as a male and going out as a female after one hour or so; some are smiling, other are quite surprised, but I never really had a problem.
And, to answer Eva’s question, yes when I am en femme I use ladies bathroom. I live in Italy and I am not sure whether there is any legal issue, however I think that if you behave discreetely, you should have no problem. Afterall going in the gent’s while en femme could be even less appropriate and could be mis-understood by the men. who are there.
ciao from Italy
