Traveling opens up new perspectives and can be especially freeing if you’re a crossdresser or transgender woman.
When you take a trip, it’s a chance to express your feminine self without the routines and expectations of everyday life.
Being your true self in a fresh, unfamiliar place can feel incredibly empowering!
Considering all the benefits of taking a transgender or crossdressing vacation, I’d love to know: Do YOU travel en femme?
Take my poll and share your MTF travel experiences or dreams in the comments!
Love,
Lucille

Hello, I live in Spain and inside the country I always travel as a sexy girl (mini skirts, heels, sexy makeup) no matter if it’s a bus, train or plane. Outside, usually I try to see if the destination country is a safe place and travel with less show-off outfits or even male appearance (even so, I’ve always been called “miss”) if the destination is not friendly. I have been flying to Rome, Amsterdam, Paris, Basel, Lisbon and London as a girl with no problems, but I tried to keep a low profile. I remember a funny incident on Madrid’s airport when the security decided to make me a body check, and as my passport says “male” and due to my obvious feminine appearance, the police officer asked me: do you prefer the check to be performed by a female or a male officer? I answered “it’s up to you, I don’t mind either way”. So she started the check.
Yes, earlier this month I traveled en femme. I rented out a condo and while housekeeping cleaned the condo, I would be sitting at the kitchen table in my bra, padded panties, waist clincher and lace robe applying makeup, doing my nails and moisturizing my legs. They would look at me and smile.
Now that I’m retired (72 years young!) I live my life now pretty much as a female. I also travel now exclusively as a woman and never have a problem. Here I am in a bathing suit I got for an upcoming cruise I’m going on and a casual dress to wear to wear around the ship. Should be fun!
Tell me which cruise you are taking and I’ll book a room too. It would be fun!
YOU’RE 72??? You made a mistake didn’t you? You meant 42 !! I’ll be 70 this October (21st) .

Here is me in my bathing suit!
I too drive a lot across the country. Once I am an hour away from home, I pull over and get dressed. I am not passable so when I refuel, I don’t go to the major stations. Even still, I get some nice comments of approval and even solicitations. Rarely do I encounter anyone who objects to me as a woman. It feels so liberating.
I dress femmin almost all the time. I don’t travel so I haven’t had a chance to do so in my true self
The problem with traveling en femme is government IDs and TSA. If you live on femme and have changed your name legally, that’s awesome. But those of us who haven’t or can’t for one reason or another, it’s extremely difficult. Imagine walking up to TSA and presenting your Male ID and TSA not allowing you through because you dont look like but ID or them asking you to lift ur wig to show them.
Talk about public outing!!!!! So for the foreseeable future, that isn’t a possibility. I’m certainly open to suggestions, though, from the community.
I sometimes travel into town on the bus dressed for the regular tgirl meets (LFF) and drive dressed to the Manchester meets.
My look is not that of a woman because I’m not a woman but I do live the cd / drag life 24/7 and I’m good with that. Love the looks I get when people realize I’m really a guy dressed in drag holding hands with my boyfriend, just love it, Jackie…..
