Your name is a powerful part of your feminine identity.
Some names feel sweet and innocent, others are classic and elegant, and some carry an exotic or mysterious vibe.
As a trans woman or crossdresser, you have the unique opportunity to choose a name that reflects who you truly are.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear yours!

Hi to all. I picked the name Gaye, because it was similar to my Birth name. Gaye was, also, the name, of a Beautiful woman, whom I knew. She embodied all the lovely qualities I am attracted to. Through her name, I feel we are connected. I love the name Gaye, I think it is a Feminine, pretty, and sexy name. Gaye fits me. Trans-Girls Rock, LUV, XOXO, Gaye.
For starters my name had to start with a J and so does everyone in my family so it would sound awkward to start with anything else. I chose Jenny as it is short, soft, feminine, basic and sounds like the girl next door. I am a CD who doesn’t mix in public so I really only use the name here. Hopefully someday I’ll feel confident enough to take the plunge after studying these blogs and practice.
I chose my first names Jolene because my first was Joseph and it easier for my kids and my grandkids to call me jo or jojo
I was lucky at birth my first name is Jerry so it was easy to just change the spelling of my name to Jeri and as a double bonus my middle initial is K. when you combined them equals to Jeri K. this is perhaps why I can relate to my feminine side. I love your website and thank you for all of the great advice. I have picked up so much information such as how to wear shoes, bras, panties, and makeup. Your advice has saved me so much money when I go shopping for clothing and I know what I am looking for and don’t need most of the time from someone in the store to help me to pick and choose. Thank you for keeping this website current.

Hi not much behind my name except I like it and it sounds similar to my birth name so it makes it easier to recognize when someone is speaking to me. So it is really my name if I was born in the body I should have had!
