Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.
Please leave a comment below, sharing your feminine name and the story of how and why you chose it for yourself.
I’m excited to hear the story!
Love,
Lucille
A BUDDY’S GIRLFRIEND HAD THIS NAME,I LIKE IT!
Since I was 16 and tried some make-up, I’ve changed names many times over, reverting to my masculine identitu for months, sometimes years. When I resumed feminization almost 10 years ago, I wanted a name that sounded feminine, classy, and not a boy’s name. So I was Jocelyne for a while, with no lasting effect. I’ve been Nathalie for almost 3 years now, I love it, my boyfriend loves it. End of the story ? You bet I’d love !
Well started off as Sandra..but then became Emma Jane.
Only when I became Caroline that I felt my female side had arrived.
It’s an anagram of my ex wife’s and her mother’s names. They gave me that name. Since my mother-in-law found out about my “secret”, she was the first to help me on my journey to becoming a woman. A little later, my ex-wife also joined. Now I am fully a woman and I am very grateful to them.
If I had actually chosen my own femme name, it would’ve been Camille. I’m a huge Prince fan (17 times in concert + 6 after show performances), and Prince’s androgynous self was named Camille as well as one of his falsetto voices featured prominently on the Sign of the Times album.
But I didn’t choose it myself. I had just come out to my wife completely (she sorta knew, but I had never said it out loud). I asked her to pick my femme name and gave her a list of 20 or so names that included Camille in the middle. She looked at the list and said “Well that’s easy, Camille.”
She knows me well. The rest is history. She also give me a lot of advice on wig colors and things of that nature.

I chose Alyssa because it means “rational” or “noble” in Greek, both of which relate to my male birth name, and traits I consider myself to possess. It also comes from a flower that was thought to cure madness, and my coming out has, to a degree, helped me make sense of past experiences that I did not understand at the time. I also have Bipolar Disorder, so I relate to the notion of being “mad.”
Actually, in my case it is very easy, there is nothing spectacular, my mother wanted a girl, her first two children were boys, she wanted it so much that she had even chosen the name; Ruth, I’ll stick with that one, it’s beautiful and I love it.
Hi Ruth I’m Allanah I’m slim and love wearing short dresses/skirts nice panties/stockings and pantyhose ect would love you to contact me
