Your name is a powerful part of your feminine identity.
Some names feel sweet and innocent, others are classic and elegant, and some carry an exotic or mysterious vibe.
As a trans woman or crossdresser, you have the unique opportunity to choose a name that reflects who you truly are.

When I first started to cross dress I needed a female name, so figured it would be easier to use my existing name but change it slightly
Hence Martin became Martina
Simples
Denis to Denise
I’ve always used Lisa for my feminine name for various past reasons. But I’ve changed that to Hailey in the past 10 years. One of the reasons I changed it is because where I used to work, people would say “Hey Lee” to get my attention. If you haven’t already guessed my actual name is Lee. So I just combined the “Hey Lee” to Hailey. So it’s still like saying my birth name. I’ve heard people say that to me more than Lisa unintentionally, so why not purposely? I think Hailey has a nice ring to it as well.
My name has always been Stacy. The change for me occurred when I was working. I had to do a training exercise where I worked. When I went to put my name on the register all I knew was my name was Stacy. I also realised my gender identity had changed to female. This happened three times that month.
when I started out it was Colleen. I thought proper with red hair and irish. but after time switched to kristi from kevin .
At first I used Yolanda because of a local business woman who I very much admired. However I eventually realized that the name really didn’t fit me. I then adopted Jessica because of a friend’s daughter with whom I was really close as she was growing up. I now use Jessi informally and among friends. Jessica is for more formal occasions and meeting new people.
It was actually chosen for me. I was registering on a lgbtq dating site. I don’t remember which one. I was considering Jenna Rae. This site created your user name. They ran Jenna Rae together and dropped the last e. I loved it the moment I saw it!
My name is a abbreviation off my own name and the name off my late girlfriend.
It was a beautiful journey with her to further develop my femininity. To be two women together.
In her honor I kept this feminine name.
