Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.
Please leave a comment below, sharing your feminine name and the story of how and why you chose it for yourself.
I’m excited to hear the story!
Love,
Lucille
I had always loved the sound of the name Stephanie. To me, it evoked an image of beauty and femininity. When I found out my parents had chosen the name for me had I been born a girl, I knew who I was meant to be.
Hello Ladies,
My Mother was hoping for a girl when she was pregnant with me and wanted to name her baby Bobby Jo. So when I was born with the wrong plumbing (from her perspective and mine) she simply added an ‘e’ to the middle name.
So I am lucky enough to get to keep my real name with it’s feminine sound, and it suits me just fine.
Mothers are (almost) always right.
Hi Lucille,
Being born a boy my mom, whose name was Georgia, named me George. Thanks to my mom who recognized something special about her 3rd son, treated me quite differently. I think she kinda wished I had been a girl. In a way her wish has come true and in her loving memory, although spelled differently, I have adopted her name, Jorja.
Thanks for your blog…I’ve been missing it of late.
Love,
Jorja

I have thought of three names Robyn, Rachyl and Nicole. I go by all three on different sites, but when I go out and meet friends or VS stores and they ask my name I have said Rachyl. I am talking to an online therapist to get my hormones and letters to go to the next level.
So I use Rachyl as my dominant name.
I got my name Jacquelyn Mystic by myself and while I was in San Francisco. I live in Montana and I just felt like this was the perfect name and it fits me to the “tee.” If I had a daughter I would give her the name.
The name I will be going by is JASMINE. The reason I picked this name is simple. Like in the movie aladin its a whole new world for me. And I was inspired by princess Jasmine and even though shes a cartoon shes beautiful and is the look im going for. It may sound silly to some . But its a whole new world and I am Jasmine and loving it
I used to use Dominique 32 years ago because it sounded so sophisticated and feminine; and my high school french teacher told me was the French equivalent of Doug. As I got older, and my memory has become shorter, I wanted my name to be short and easy to remember too. So I’m just Dee, or Deedee; which is as close as anything else since there is no feminine equivalent to Doug in English.
