Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.
Please leave a comment below, sharing your feminine name and the story of how and why you chose it for yourself.
I’m excited to hear the story!

I chose Charlene because my given name is Charles. I thought that would be goood for two reasons: 1)It is easy for me to remember; and 2) it is simialr enough to Charles that when someone calls me “Charlene” I will know I need to respond. If my name were too distant from my male name, for example “Jane”, some one may speak to me and I might think they were talking to someone else. LOL
Since selecting Charlene I have become very pleased with it. A natural female friend of mine described me as an “elegant woman.” When I am Charlene I do feel elegant. The name “Charlene”, to me, conveys this sense of elegance.
My cousin was playing around with names for me and settled on Jasmine because I like the color Purple. To keep the floral theme going I picked Rose as a middle name. I am keeping my “maiden” name for my last.
My whole Life I have always been Ericha inside but I was born Erik, but as I look back many people knew who I was but didn’t at the same time (they thought they where picking on me)…
My name is Rafael and so I go by Rafaella. My friends call me Rafi for short. The name Lynda Mariposa was one that I used when I first connected with Feminization Secrects. That name came from a very close friend who chose Mariposa for me. Mariposa is Spanish for butterfly and she liked the name because it represented the metamorphosis that I was going through. Lynda came from another friend who kept saying that I was a “Linda” Mariposae; linda being Spanish for “pretty”.
I now go by Rafi and, if selected, would love that name on my necklace. thank you for this chance to win as well as all that you do and have done for us. love ya girl…xoxo
My Mom helped me choose my name.
I asked her what my would’ve been had been born a genetic girl, She replied
Vanessa Marie Villarreal
I have been telling my wife for a few years that I have a femmie side and I was trying to come up with a name for her and the wife started calling me Mikea
When I was young my first love was Kriss. Now I´m Lady Kriss Crystal.
I chose this name because every time I hear someone call me it I feel more feminine than I could ever possibly be.
