Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.
Please leave a comment below, sharing your feminine name and the story of how and why you chose it for yourself.
I’m excited to hear the story!

My fem name is “Jonna”, which I chose because it is a variation on my day-to-day name, and is fairly uncommon. I have been using this fem name for over 20 years.
Firstly, do understand that I am different than the other girls in that I have lived in Europe for a long time and I am partially educated in French. Well, once upon a time while living in Geneva, Switzerland I viewed this TV series in French called “Angélique”. This impressed me so I decided to take on this name. Unfortunately after having come back to the USA I never have been able to find this series but the name Angélique I did acquire legally in 1986. I was using it well beforehand.
My birth name is Michael and when I met my wife I told her about me being feminine and she was okay with it. She is the one who named me by switching the male names witn feminine names. I kept my “maiden” name and so my name is Mikhala Joanna but everyone calls me Mica for short. When I was 8 or 9, a cousin caught me in her room going through her clothes so she dressed me up and I felt um, normal like I belonged in the dress. My wife loves helping with my hair and makeup, we go shopping together which is always fun.
I got my name from my favorite woman Pamela Anderson, she is such a woman. My male name was Preston so it was pretty easy to come up with something close to my male name and my middle is Marie, guess who she is from yes Marie Osmond and my sister too. For me it is who I want to look like is who I named myself oh how I wish, anyway thats it Pamella Marie Green
