Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.

I’m excited to hear the story!

Hi
I like the name: Wilma Roberts
It is not to far from mine
It is either that are Isabell as a first name because I have always like my Grandmothers name.
My birth name is Christopher. And when anyone would call me chris my mom would correct them and say “Its not chris its christopher!” As much as i love my mom i couldnt have people calling me christina or Kristin because her voice would ring in my head saying “its not christina, its christopher.” Which is just not acceptable. So with that out of the way i had some choices in mind: Jacquelin, Anna, Molly…. the list got quite extensive. I started eliminating names if they were too common, then if i could write them girlishly with ease… but the list was still long. SO i started thinking. I was born in march, my birthstone is aquamarine and my sign is pisces. Water related things. So i started looking at my list of names and realized Brooke ( a derivitive of brook) was on there and was the only reasonable water-like name on it. So i chose Brooke because it seemed to define me best.
My mother had a “still born” girl before I was born. She said it was to be named Linda. So after my birth — she treated me as a girl and even called me “Linda” at home. “Marie” was my mother’s name. I was raised to be more feminine than masculine. Today, my body is soft, little body hair, small breasts. My only regret is that my Mom never took the time to teach me to cook or use makeup properly. So, like you, I didn’t choose my female name.
Keep smiling,
Hugs + Smooches,
Linda Marie
Hi,
I got my name from my bestfreind who I told everything to and when I get the chance I asked my mom what my name would if been if I was a female and she told me morgan Lynn but I thought about it for a little bit and my middle name came from my best friend who lost her mom in a house fire and her moms name was paige so I decided to use her moms name as my middle name in memoration of her mom that she had lost and my last name Austin came from my dads side of the family because my family is a little messed up all the guys have my moms last name and all the girls have my dads last name so it would be right for me to adopt the last name also in 2001 I lost my grandfather who I was closest to and his lasts words to me were pls pass on the family name because if my dad were to die the Austin lastname for my family would diminish so my grandfather inspired my lastname more than anything.
Thank you
Love,
MorganPaige

Well my parents did not want to find out my sex when I was still in the womb. So they set up two names for me, Jessica was the girls one. So I was drawn to that name when I found it out. I chose the last name Mercedes because I dated a girl who was strong, confident, sexy, and pretty much everything I wanted to be as a girl. Plus it sounded exotic lol
just woke up one day and it dawned on me!
My first name was easy Maria I always liked the name. and I kept my last name. But my middle name took me months to find one I liked and went with my first and last name. it was my wife who suggested it. it is her mothers name Elizabeth. I tried it out and it sounded great to me. So I kept it.
So as I was growing as a teen and not sure who I was a very good friend of mine that lived across the street helped me find myself, she helped me figure out that I should have been a girl, over the year or two that I came to understand all of this her younger sister was killed in a car crash, Her mane was Jessica, as we helped each other threw or problems she was the one that said I was taking the place of her sister and when we finally transformed me into me femm side she was the one that said I was going to be an addition to her family and called me Jessica. I have always liked the name but it has a very special meaning to me and my sisters.
