Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.
Please leave a comment below, sharing your feminine name and the story of how and why you chose it for yourself.
I’m excited to hear the story!
Love,
Lucille
I chose the name tina. When we were expecting our youngest son we were told that he was going to be a girl so we had the name Christine pick out but of course the doctor was wrong and we chose the name Bryan
I’m relatively new to cross dressing but love it and love my feminine side. I wasn’t going to choose a female name, but I was driving to work one morning and the name Liz just popped into my head out of nowhere. It fit.
Hi Lucille. My name was easy. I have always been told that my male name was very fem. It was Joel, but is pronounced Joelle. It makes life so much easier not having to change my name as it has become part of who I am. I was torn by having to pick a new name but decided Joelle worked beautifully. By the way my middle name is Erin(Aaron). Guess my mom knew what she was doing when she named me after all.

my male name is john, i have been called johnny all my life, so i use the name joni, it fits me and my lifestyle,
Hi Lucille,
When my mother was pregnant with me the doctor told her that I would be a girl and she could buy lots of pink girly things for me and choose a pretty girl’s name. So she did. The name she chose for me was Christine. Unfortunately for my mum the doctor was not entirely correct and my name was changed to Christopher. For the first 3 years of my life I was dressed in all the little girl clothes that my mother had bought and I played with the dolls that she had bought too.
Now that I am able to express my feminine soul every day it just seemed appropriate that I should be Christine and that’s who I am now.
Lots of love and hugs.
Christine.

When I was a child and my mother first found out she had a daughter as well as a son -it was at around age 4, she related to me that if I had been the girl she and my dad had wanted then I would have been Michelle. I have been her daughter now for 60 years. Since I would not be officially named this her younger sister named her daughter Michele so our family now has two Michel(le’s. The younger one knows all about her girl cousin so we have been close for all of our adult lives.
I choose the name Becky as my wife had our initials and a rose tattooed on her left ankle. So I figured that my new name would also have to start with the letter B. There was a television show with a girl named Becky who had the same personality and attitude that I have. I also wanted a name that I would like to have for the rest of my life as I have legally changed my name to Becky
Becky
i just love the name Samantha
