Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.
Please leave a comment below, sharing your feminine name and the story of how and why you chose it for yourself.
I’m excited to hear the story!
Love,
Lucille
The name Jennifer was my choice due to a cool friend on mine in college. Jennifer/jenny is a really out going and cool girl. She was a lesbian but always celebrated who she was and was out there being herself before it was cool to do that. She was the Lady GaGa of her time. I just hope to live up to a sterling example of what it is to be a cool lady.
I was born as Andrew. Yes: that means manly. I was never that, never one of the boys, never out with a ball, never in the team and later never one of the lads. I preferred girls’ company but was shut out as being a boy. As soon as I could, I became Andy, to seem more gentle. And so I was for 40 wilderness years.
Along the way I met a dear lesbian friend, Andrea, or Andie. I felt she needed me more than I could help her without marital and lesbian partnership tangles, and I have always deeply regretted a time I couldn’t go to her rescue. I believe she has now passed away, and I never resolved letting her down.
Releasing my feminine persona has finally allowed Andy to become Andie, my final feminisation, and my tribute to someone special.
Andie
I’ve tried on several femme names over the years, but nothing seemed to fit. When I joined the virtual world of Second Life, I chose “Lindal Kidd” more or less by free sssociating like mad.
It’s an unusual name for a woman and often people call me “Linda” by mistake…but I can’t imagine having any other name now.
Mom was going to have a baby girl before I came along and had picked the name felicha. Felicha was a still born so when she was carrying me the doctor told her she was going to have a girl ( go figure ) so she picked the name dawn. Now we can all see that did not work out so well either so when I choose my name I used the first name of the sister that I should have had and the name that was supposed to have been mine to begin with. I think that it is working out very well because when I got married I took my husbands last name of Lusk so there is no trace of who I use to be. ( Life is Good now )
Felicha

Hi I chose my first name after a very pretty Transexual i saw on the internet, and my middle name after my granddaughters middle name, so Katrina Marie was born i keep my last name of Brown. So the full name i know go by is Katrina Marie Brown.

The first femmi name that I used was Linda. Linda Danver from Super Girl. I really didn’t like that one. I then remembered a school chum whose name I liked. Becky was the resualt. I did a differnt spelling for a long time. Then I settled on Becky. My full femmi name is Rebecca Naomi. I like Becky though.
Thank you.
Becky
