Mine comes from a friend of mine. Ever since I’ve known her I have called her Kit even though her real name is Cathy. Sitting at her kitchen table one day she was eating of all things a Kit Kat chocolate bar. She gave me a piece and said your like my Kat , hence the name was born . I heard Katrina after that and it just stuck but all my friends still just call me Kat 🙂 Hugzz
I was named after my grandmother ,if I was born female it would be Victoria, but I was bornd male, so my name is Victor.
I choose this name to match my initials. That way people that know how I am can always find me. It is also a name I feel a deep connection with. 🙂
In my early dressing days I decided I needed a female name and I was thinking and thinking for days about what would be a good name for me, come to find out this girl I was seeing had a cat named jasmine, and the first time I heard her say it I just fell in love with it, and thus became jasmine.
My name of Angélique I decided upon long ago. In 1974-5 there was a TV series running in Geneva Switzerland where I was living at the time. Someone the central character of this name impressed me. Also this name which means “angelic” in English sounds important and Catholics with whom I have been around a lot while living in Europe talk a lot about angels. At first I decided upon this name casually but at the end of 1986 it became my legal name. I wanted it to be so.
Read an article about Barbara Hutton ..wealthy lADY ..lIKED THE FACT THAT HER FRIENDS CALLED HER Babs…Then needed a last name and added Stevens For safistication.. ….Have been Barbara Stevens for years My friends call me babs
My birth name is Allen but when I first started cross dressing I started using Alison because of its similarity starting sound to Allen. Anyway as I slowly came out and started to look for genetic girls who would accept my feminity I found a wonderful email friend called Christie who I befriended. She thought that Alison didn’t suit my personality and suggested I adopt Allie because it is so sweet and cute. Well I am now known as Allie and all my girlfriends call me Allie. And even one guy at work calls me Allie as a joke but he doesn’t know of my cross dressing but just chooses to tease me. Little does he know I really am Allie and love it. Actually I have come out to a lovely lady at work called Cheryl and she knows I prefer Allie to Allen. But she chooses to call me Allen. I approached her and asked did she tell Roy of my Allie name and she swears she didn’t even to this day. I believe her too. Yeah so Allie is so ingrained in my character even people who don’t know some times put a cute twist on Allen and call me Allie.
Hugs fun question.
