Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.
Please leave a comment below, sharing your feminine name and the story of how and why you chose it for yourself.
I’m excited to hear the story!

Hiya Lucille and everyone.
Well my name came more out of spite towards my parents more than anything cause they well pretty much dissapprove of my new life now. It is not to say that they have turned there backs on me or anything but basically they play the don’t ask don’t tell game.. Anyway my male name is Richard but everyone calls me Rickey.. So I thought to myself.. well why not just change the spelling of Rickey to be more feminine spelling suck as Ricci .. So now without there even knowing my family who so dissapproves of my new life is calling me by my girl name.. heh 🙂
Hi Lucille,
I’ve experimented with several names over the years – some cutesy, some not. I’ve finally decided on ‘Diana Joan. for several reasons. I love them both. To me… they are womanly and feminine as well as classy. I know I’m a woman but like to think I’m a lady as well.
Again, ‘to me’ those names seem to fit the bill. I’ve known several impressive women with those names during my life and hope I can live up to their standards as decent people and truly feminine women (and sexy as h… when they wanted to be).
It’s a great question Lucille,
Thank you, Joan
My middle name being anthony, I am, to the core, in my heart Toni.
In male mode, everybody knows me as Rio. It also considered a female name, most likely a unisex name. However, I wanted to find a more feminine name and something simple with the same first letter (R). At first I thought of Rebecca, Roxanne, Raquel, but I felt that they didn’t fit me. I chose Rachel because it was a simple, feminine name, still a beautiful name to go with.
Hi!
How I chose my female name? My female name is Sophie. I chose it after my favourite French actress, Sophie Marceau. In my opinion, she is a very beautiful woman, so that’s why I like being called Sophie when “en femme”.
