Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.
Please leave a comment below, sharing your feminine name and the story of how and why you chose it for yourself.
I’m excited to hear the story!
Love,
Lucille
Hi Lucille, well my male name is Martin, so easiest change was to Martine – more femme but still sounds the same, so next option was Martina … yes much more femme, and of course commonly abreviated to ‘tina, so Tina it is 😉
I didn’t get to pick my name at birth… so I didn’t see why I should get to pick it now after all these years… I think that we grow into our names, and if I was to choose my name I would never really fit my name.
So I let all my friends choose my name for me. I posted online what I was doing and took down a list of recommendations. I then posted a poll on those names. One name stood out far above all the others.
Amber Lyn
I found it fitting and convenient that my hair is a deep dark red.
It’s now been my name for four years and everyone says if fits me so well.
PS… my birth name was Daniel… so yeah… big change. Here is a photo of me and an old buddy… we are a little silly… ok a lot silly. My wife is taking the pictures. if anyone wants to add me on facebook my name is Amber Lyn Paschal.
I wanted a French sounding name, and it became a contraction of “Jean est elle aussi” . Poor French for “she’s Jan too”. Jan is my Dutch name. Anyway I skipped “aussi” and Chantelle was born. Chanty for friends. Never heard of the lingeriebrand then.
When I was younger, I would live an alternate life on games online. I would call myself “Brittany”. The BR in Brittany is the same as the BR in my “real” name, though I’ve come to prefer Brittany more than my real name. Being a girl online was so much more fun than being a guy, and even more natural to me. I thought I was gay, but then I learned as I got older that gay isn’t necessarily a bad thing as I was brought up to think. I’m technically bisexual, but I was harassed and called “Gay” without ever having come out of the closet or anyone finding out. It’s rough living as a female who is still “technically” and “legally” male. I’m embarrased to say it, but hopefully there are no lurking trolls here. My real name is Brandon. I could have chosen a name like “Brenda”, but I always thought Brittany was a name for a younger, prettier girl. It’s always made me happy when I could be in public, and have someone walk up to me, and be able to shake their hand and hug them say “Hello, I’m Brittany”. It brings joy to my face every time.
wellit was a while ago and i always loved the name amy

HI amymichelle u look cute and buty. Take care
Well my male name was Kevin (I never liked it, it never fit). I looked through name books and nothing I saw never seemed to fit me. So I went back to my school days, several girls in my class had the name Kelly and it seemed to fit. So I test drove it and whenever I used it, it just sounded and felt right.
Hi Lucille,
My female name came about as a result of wanting to retain my anonymity, which I pronounced ‘ananimity’. So I adjusted the spelling a little bit more and created the name ‘Anna Nimity’.
New a girl by the name of Tayna, she was sexy, and I think the name is also…so…Tayna
