Your name is a powerful part of your feminine identity.
Some names feel sweet and innocent, others are classic and elegant, and some carry an exotic or mysterious vibe.
As a trans woman or crossdresser, you have the unique opportunity to choose a name that reflects who you truly are.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear yours!
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please share your story in the comments below. I can’t wait to read it!
Love,
Lucille

My mother and my late partner asked me to honor my father by going back to the name on my birth certificate, and my partner also asked me to be true to myself. So I changed Charles to Charlene Cassandra because both of them liked Cassandra and the last name I was born with, McQueen a strange last name for a part Pawnee Indian to have but it is on my birth certificate. So Charlene Cassandra McQueen is born. And no I am not related to the actor.

Hi Lucille,
I chose Anna & Marina because each is an international name, regardless of race, religion or skin colour. And being Asian where I come from, the name Anna or Marina is often used by our multicultural women. I like Marina because it also means ‘marine’ as I am a water baby 😉
paulina because it is an extension of my name paul. and laura because of a friend of mine who said i looked like a “laura paulina” but mostly because it sound like an exotic combination, to me.
Well, since my initials were D.D.,I chose Dee Dee! I prefer just plain ole Dee! XO! XO! Dee!
I love it
