Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.
Please leave a comment below, sharing your feminine name and the story of how and why you chose it for yourself.
I’m excited to hear the story!
Love,
Lucille
Too late to enter contest….but, my male name is jay, and i’ve always loved the female name lyne…so…jaylyne came to mind. i’d love comments, please, kisses.
O.K., I know I’m too late for the vontest, but here is my story. I have always loved the name Kaye( it’s just so basic, and rolls off the tongue so easily) I chose the last name Whye, because I am a silly Gurl, who enjoys wordplay. The real joke here, is that I do not use K-Y products.
Just so y’all will know I DO have a heart, the middle name I chose, belongs to the woman responsible for me believing in love at first sight. It is her middle name. I asked her permission to use it out of respect for her, and she consented. Her middle name(and now mine too) is Louise.
There you have it the story of my chosen name, Kaye Louise Whye.
Well, though it’s too late for the contest, I am telling the story in honor of my reasons for my name. I chose Crystal because I was a Crystal Gayle fan. Kelli is a name my friend Brenda, who helped me to come out of my shell, and I picked out for my nick name and it kinda stuck as what I go by and it’s the name of one of her friends who passed and she was close with. Lynne is in honor of a lady friend that passed away from Lukemia. That’s it in a nut shell. All that ladies I have taken names from have special meaning and have touched the hearts of many people in a positive way which leaves me hoping I can touch those as my femme self in positive ways. I LOVE being the person that brings joy as those ladies did, to all they came in contact with and I hope I can be like they are at least to some.

P.S. I realize the contest if over
Hello Dears,
I know the contest is already over..buuuut.. anyways, maybe somebody is still interested.. my name is Katie.. and well, I grew up very religious as a member of a local baptist church.. and my relationship to God still means everything to me.. so, when my wife wanted to devorce, this was just an aweful time for me and I decided to stay at a monastery. QUiet praying and listening to get along with this situation better.. I stayed there for quite a time and afterwards.. my friends started calling me K.T. – in German, this K stands for ‘Kloster’ (engl. Monastery) and T. for ‘Tussi’ (engl. Chick)as those girls always snickered and told me when going shopping: “Whenever we go into the city YOU are the girl! You are such a chickie!!!” and from K.T. to Katie it wasn’t a too big step.. ;o)
Love yall,
Katie
