Greetings from Bangkok, Thailand! I am here soaking up the local transgender / crossdressing culture.
As you might know, Thailand is considered the transgender capital of the world. The “third gender” is an accepted part of Thai society, making it a haven for transgender people. It’s been wonderfully refreshing to witness.
Here are a few highlights from my trip:
Let’s Talk Travel!
If you’re seeking your next fabulous en femme getaway, look no further than Thailand! But even if you stay closer to home, traveling is the perfect opportunity to unleash your feminine self away from the routine and expectations of home.
Here are 3 great benefits of traveling for crossdressers and transgender women:
1. Traveling gives you an opportunity to reinvent yourself
Nobody knows you and nobody will ever see you again, so you can literally be whoever you want to be.
2. Traveling is the ultimate rut buster
Does life feel like the same old, same old? Traveling exposes you to new experiences and gives you a fresh perspective on life. (And who can’t use that?)
3. Traveling teaches you to go with the flow
Most trips (like your own male to female journey) are full of unexpected surprises. Traveling teaches you to go with the flow – and enjoy the experience.
Do you travel en femme?
I’d love to hear about your en femme travel adventures (or travel dreams), so please share them with me in the comments section below!
Love,
Lucille
Hiya! I am a closet crossdresser. Looking to go to Bankok in the first week of jan, 2013. Are there any transformation services or resources available to help me spend my time femme there? Been searing the web for days, but no luck. :(. Thanks a bunch…..
Did you find anywhere? I go soon and I have the same problem x
hello Lucille
i have never experience it but it sounds good
thanks asselle
need tips to look femme cant never get it right
I have not traveled dressed in public. I would to relate a tale. When I was in the military, my mother traveled to attend my military school graduation. We drove across the states. When we stop to rest or eat, we were always addressed as “sirs”. This was because my mother always dressed in MEN’s chothes. She wore pants, t-shirts and short hair. She could get away with this but I can’t. Who says TG doesn’t come from your family….. She hated wearing dresses, but I love wearing dresses….
hi can i first say how amazing you look i’m so jelous don’t think i will ever look that great.
sorry but i’m not having much luck with my transformation i look good in the clothes i wear its just that i still see myself as a man i’ve tried allsorts and nothing works not even hypnosis i’m so desperate to become feminine i will try anything have you got any ideas that might help
I have taken a number of extensive road trips in the last few years. It is so fulfilling to be treated as a normal human being, not some kind of social problem, by the hugely vast majority of people I meet! I go a lot of places, do many “girl” and “boy” things, all as my happy old lady self, and people are SO sweet to me, both men and women. So, traveling gives me a chance to see how nice everyone can be. And, have fun doing all that stuff you only find in other places!
I’m and over the road truck driver. When I leave home I dress in femme tell I get back home thanks to your advice. I’ve been married for 37yrs. My wife knows how I fell but we agreed for me not to dress in front of her. Since being able to read about others like myshelf and the help you give us I been able to go out and live like I fell. I now do not care what other people think when i stop at a truckstop or gas station. I go into fast food places or any where else. When I’m Patricia I even us the woman’s bathroom. I have found woman more helpful and ask gyrations and our more helpful. The more confident you our the less people notice you. Thanks lucille for all your help and advice please keep up all your great work. We dont have many people like you. I think they brook the mold with you. I try to look like the woman I fell Inside with your help i will thanks lol
Patti. Where do you run. Maybe we can meet sometime. Reply to jerry.bareman@gmail.com
I am also an over the road driver as you are as well. And, it is very liberating to be as free as I am. Also, been married for 5 years with my wife knowing this before we even started dating.
To get out of a big truck in 4″ heels and looking good is a good feeling.
People do not expect a driver to look as good as I do getting out of the truck. I get hit on by straight guys and lesbians. LOL But, I politely turn the down.
Hi Lucille
No The incident did not occur at the airport but in a main street where the “security police” were doing a random identity check of documents. Apparently unbeknown to me there had been rumors of an anti-government demonstration to rtake place later that day and the police were on alert. I wisyh it had been at the airport so I could just get on a plane and come home.
