The right pair of shoes can instantly transform the way you look, feel, and walk. That’s why a girl can never own too many pairs!
Of course, not all shoes are created equal and some styles are much more flattering and feminizing than others.
That’s why in this blog post, I’ve compiled the top 7 shoe styles for crossdressers and transgender women.
From classy high heels to comfortable flats, here are the best MTF shoes to enhance your feminine image.
1. Classic Black Pumps
What could be more chic than a pair of classic black pumps? They add a polished look to any outfit, making them a feminine wardrobe staple.
For the most mileage, choose a closed-toe, full back style with a heel that’s high enough to help loosen up your hips as you walk.
2. Ballet Flats
You don’t have to wear high heels to look feminine!
Ballet flats are a fantastic option, especially if you’re on the taller side or want to look pretty and stylish without sacrificing comfort.
3. D’Orsay Pumps
The d’Orsay is a beautiful and elegant pump style in which the sides are cut away to reveal the arch of the foot.
D’Orsay pumps are perfect for showing off shapely legs – an asset for most crossdressers and transgender women.
4. T-Straps
T-straps add a sexy touch to pumps, high heel sandals, and flats. T-strap shoes have two distinct benefits:
- The ankle strap offers extra support for your ankles, making them easier to walk in than other heels.
- The vertical line created by the center strap draws the eye upwards, making your legs look longer.
5. Nude Heels
If you’re on a budget, nude heels will give you the most mileage since they can be worn with literally any color of outfit.
Choose a nude tone that blends in with your skin to make your legs look miles long – an added bonus!
6. Wedges
Still trying to master walking in heels? Then consider a wedge heel. Since the sole covers more ground, they’re much easier to walk in.
One caveat: Wedges have a chunky look, so they are best for those with thinner legs. Stay away from them if you have large or muscular legs.
7. Tall Boots
Boots are sexy and sassy, so they’re a wardrobe must.
Choose knee high boots for the most elegant look. Tall boots are more flattering and slimming than ankle boots or boots that hit the middle of the calf.
Let’s talk shoes!
Of course, these 7 shoe styles are only the beginning! While all of these options are fantastic, the best shoes are the ones that make YOU look and feel your best.
I could talk about shoes for days, so let’s keep the conversation going!
Take my poll and then and share a photo of yourself wearing your favorite shoes in the comments below!

I take a size 8 (UK) A few years ago shoe manufactures in the UK or their suppliers realised that women do have feet beyond a size 6At 6 feet ! All the high street shops have shoes that now fit “off the shelf” – there is just too much choice though now :-(. At 6 foot in my stoking feet I do take care with heel height’s and the outfit I’m wearing.
Penny Lancaster can get away with 4 and 5inch heels but her figure is sadly better than mine (the bitch :-).

You look amazing and that is one sexy outfit ~ love Dana
I loved heels but I can no longer wear them since a car crash. My ankles are now fused solid in permanent L-shapes and the only footwear I can use that allows me to walk are mbt shoes or boots –
Just do me a favour ladies and enjoy your high heels to the max for people like myself.
First I thank GOD that I was born with small hands and feet so buying shoes is not a problem. Second I probaly come out of the womb wearing 5″ stiletto heels.
Third if the heel is 3″ or lower it is a flat and I hate flats.
If you have the legs there is no better way to show them than in a mini skirt and heels.
Of course every new pair needs a bag to match them
About 30 pairs, but I want more. I’m lucky enough to be a size 7 so shopping for them is pretty easy.
You’re so cute in your little shoes, Sarah. You’re lucky to be so petite. Ronae
Let me try that again 😉
Enjoy girls!
Found this fantastic site. Design your own shoes. Best part is, if it doesn’t fit, they will remake it for free until the shoes fit!
I love love love my shoes. I now have 46 pairs and counting. All are 3+ inch heels except for one pair of pink stripe sneekers, most are knee-high boots.
