Are you afraid to step out as a woman for fear of not “passing?”
Instead of fixating on passing, my advice to crossdressers and transgender women has always been to try to “blend in” as a woman instead. (Read more on that topic here.)
But lately, I’ve been wondering… Is blending in REALLY the ultimate goal when presenting as female?
After all, why wear cute outfits, style your hair, or apply makeup if no one notices?
I think it’s a natural feminine desire to want to stand out and make a statement. Does your inner woman share this desire?
This is an interesting topic, and I’d love to hear your thoughts:
- Do you enjoy getting positive attention when presenting yourself as a woman?
- Or do you prefer to blend in and attract as little attention as possible?
Please take my poll and share your thoughts below!
Love,
Lucille

WOW… I am a show-off, always have been. Now, most people believe me to be a woman, and I am a woman. And we can also be show-offs. Clothes, hair, make-up are all part of me. I write books about LGBT people, for 20 years I never admitted to being transsexual. Then I wrote a book “Identity” now another “The Red Bitch’s Revenge” and now finishing up “Angel the Assassin” all about LGBT characters. Now I am openly transsexual and proud of it.
I love to blend in.
I feel like i do both at times not even noticing it. I’ve always known i was extremely feminine at a young age i wanted to see how it feels to be sexy and feminine and let’s just say I love it.
As a senior open transgender woman I try to blend in. I take senior ladies trips with my church group, a church greeter and belong to a cis-women’s weekly lunch group.
I would want to blend in but in my case I have started HRT program and at first I was uneasy due to the fact people would still call me sir but now going on 7 months of HRT everyone is call me mam which puts my mind at ease that I do not have to worry about passing off as a female. I am closer to my dreams
Just me
When dressing as a woman I would definitely like to stand out and have the public notice me. Having people looking and seeing the true me as I would like to be seen is what I thrive for.
