It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Some names feel like a perfect fit from the start, while others never quite resonate with us.
However, crossdressers and transgender women have the unique opportunity to choose their own feminine names.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear YOURS.
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please tell us your story in the comments below, and if you can, share a photo too. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name!
Love,
Lucille
I choose “Brianna” because it is the feminine version of my name, the closest to my name. I am involved with women’s organizations like N.O.W., as a member and volunteer, and they all address me as “Brianna,” as well as my hair stylist, manicurist, the lady who does my full body sugaring, my Mary Kay rep, and the ladies at the spa who give me facials and body treatments. Needless to say my walk-in closet is now filled with nothing but women’s clothing and my dressers filled with nothing but bras, panties, waist cinchers, corsets and hosiery. “Brianna” fits me perfectly now. Attached is a photo of my legs now after full body hair removal!
May I please compliment Brianna
are pretty shaved feminine legs.
Do they look attractive in
silky black nylon stockings
with high heels too?
Annette.
Yes, they look wonderful in black stockings! I don’t shave any more. I get full body sugaring every four weeks, which is a lot like waxing, but better for your skin. The hair gets thinner and weaker and eventually I will be permanently hairless. I do that and use Mary Kay Toning Lotion every morning after I shower and at night before bed. I get major compliments on my legs now and I love it. I am actually wearing those same shoes and hosiery right now.
‘Melissa’ just seemed to be the most feminine sound I could imagine–the lovely double s in the middle…The more feminine the better!!
I did consider several names before selectibg Claire. To me is is a symbolises a feminine nature with a bit od sassiness and confidence. (cIS) woman suggested an aristoceric middle name would balance the Claire well, hence the Victoria.
Hi Lucille
My femme name is Rachel. I have had a crush on a fellow student of this name (and I simply adored her couture (secretly aspiring to dress and smell as attractively as her). I also rate Rachel Weiss.
Kind regards
I used to pay guitar, but that wasn’t a good source for a femme name. So I chose a close cousin, the mandolin. My full name is Mandilina Mishael. Mishael is a derivation of my given name Michael.
One of my first crushes was named Felicia, plus I like the name because it sounds like fellatio.
I don’t remember really when I decided I wanted Tonya as my first name, but it’s always been a name I thought was pretty. My first real crush was with a girl with the same name, many years ago. Like I said though, I don’t remember when I was like”I want Tonya to be my name “, I just remember it was what stood out in my mind. I had a gf really do me wrong and made it known to some people I knew I was cross dressing, and I thought about changing my female name. Couldn’t do it. Years later, I started transitioning and when I came out to my ex wife (she’s the cool one), she asked if I had chosen a name. I told her what it was and she just said “OMG…. do you remember what my name was in German class?!”. It was Tonya, and no…. I had forgotten that! So, that’s how my name came about! I chose a full German name since that’s my family’s heritage.
well when I came out to my family it was my mother who chose my name for me. if she had a daughter she always wanted to call her jasmine. now that I have become her daughter
