It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Some names feel like a perfect fit from the start, while others never quite resonate with us.
However, crossdressers and transgender women have the unique opportunity to choose their own feminine names.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear YOURS.
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please tell us your story in the comments below, and if you can, share a photo too. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name!
Love,
Lucille
I chose Alise (eng. Alice) as my girl’s name. When I started actively crossdressing several years ago, I immediately realized that I had to choose a girl’s name. At first I considered different options. But I had a girlfriend, Alise, at that time. I loved him very much but unfortunately we broke up later. But her name remained in my heart. And then, returning to the choice of my girl’s name, I realized that I like this name, it is short, and besides, its first two letters are the initials of my real name and surname, and the rest of the letters are also in my name and surname. So I now identify myself as Alise ❤️
I went from Patrick to Patrice. I was on a vacation with my gf at the time. When I asked her what she thought. She said “mistress Patrice Mistrice “ and that sold me.
I came up with a different middle name that started with the same letter as my dead middle name.
The result was that:
1. my email addresses were unchanged mostly.
2. My signature stayed the same
3. I gaslight companies and tell them that THEY made a mistake when they enter my name into their database. It has always been Patrice and I have no idea where the original mistake came from
i picked the name danni after i acepted myself as a transgender few years ago. it was a tv show i picked the name danni from a tv show called life
Growing up and tinkering with cars and then the game “Ratchet and Clink” came out I chose the nickname “Ratchet”! It never set in and one day i accidentally typed the name only with an “L” instead of a “T” and the name Rachael was born.
Has stuck ever since. The last name was a imaginative creation. Still that stuck as well and the rest is now history. i have never had the desire to change it.
My name is derived from my childhood dog that I admired as a child. Her name was Cheri. So I chose Sherry.
I chose Nichole or Nikki. One of my older sisters was Vikki, She was Daddys princess and was the typical HS majorette cheerleader type who’s stockings and garters were likely my first ones worn. Nikki had a sexxiness with mischievous allure that has always appealed to my Fem side and I don’t recalled ever meeting an un
-appealingly NIKKI
! TEE’HEEE!
When I was born Mom wanted to name me Frank after my father whom she loved dearly. Dad didn’t want a Frank Jr. in the house and wasn’t in favor of it. So Mom opted for Francis. As a youngster I didn’t really mind except when an aunt who I didn’t like would call me “Franci” in a condescending way. My 8th grade math teacher called me Frank and it stuck for the rest of my life and even Dad ended up calling me Frank. In my journey I’ve come to like being called Francis as it’s so different and really has a lovely sound to it. As a sissy girl, Franci is so girly sounding and puts me in that bit of submissive head space we girls all enjoy sometimes. So, my girl name is Franci and I love it for many reasons.
I choose my name as a variation of my last name. And most important it just suits me. Many friends use the shorten version “Mel” and I just love it
