Planning to step out en femme? Don’t forget your bag! More than just a stylish accessory, your purse is a toolbox for your female self.
While a cluttered bag isn’t chic, there are some essentials you shouldn’t be without. You never know what life will throw at you – and a lady is always prepared!
In this blog post, I share 15 transgender / crossdressing items to keep in your purse when you are on the go.
1. Cell phone
Needless to say, you should never leave home without your phone. Besides, you never know when the perfect selfie opportunity will arise!
2. Lip Gloss or Lipstick
A moisturizing lip gloss or lipstick in your favorite shade is a female essential.
3. Mints or Gum
Freshen your breath on the go by keeping a stash of mints or gum on hand.
4. Nail File
There’s nothing more annoying than a broken nail, so throw one of these babies into your bag.
5. $20 Cash
Even though most of us rely on credit or debit cards, you never know when you might need some cash.
6. Hand Cream
Keep your hands feeling soft and feminine with a tube of hand cream.
7. Blotting Paper or Powder
Reduce shine on the go with blotting paper or pressed powder.
8. Bobby Pins
These come in handy if you need to secure your wig or tame some loose strands of hair.
9. Compact Mirror
A must-have for checking your teeth or makeup.
10. Stain Removal Pen
The sooner you treat an unexpected stain, the less likely it is to be permanent.
11. Band-Aids
Not just for cuts and scrapes, a Band-Aid can relieve blisters caused by new shoes.
12. Safety Pins
Those can be a lifesaver if you break a strap or pop a button.
13. Emergency Info
Not to be a downer, but if anything should happen, this could literally save your life.
14. Advil or Tylenol
Keep a couple painkillers on hand in case you get a surprise headache.
15. Healthy Snack
Hunger can sneak up on you, so keep a healthy snack bar or some nuts in your bag.

spare pair of hose..for those of us that love hose..clear nail polish for runs…touch up polish for your nails
Tissue is always handy. My keys always end up in there. I always have a tiny flashlight. A friend suggested always carry a tampon. I was in a ladies room once when a girl asked if i had a spare. Whether it was a test or true emergency I wasnt sure!! I think if i carried it full time I’d end up with a Lets-make-a-deal purse!!
I suggest a new condom …. never know when a guy might try forcing his attentions on you..!!!

Your tip about bobby pins is a good one. When I first started going
outside en femme I encountered a sudden wind outburst. Combined
with high humidity (I live in Florida Lol) my wig wouldn’t behave
itself. Of course I had not included bobby pins in my purse (: To say I looked like a mad woman on the bus ride home is an understatement.
As always thanks for all the great advice. Love,Karen
Dam woman! I’m jealous! You’re a knockout – AND great tastes in clothes!
One little important thing I started a few years back as Jim ,I had a spare door key made for my car.I carry it in a kind of universal wallet so no matter whom the day brings Selena or Jim I can never be o9cked out of my car. Has saved me a couple of times.
All of the above and then some… My addition to the list would be very tiny flashlight…. I have one that clips on the end of my keychain. It’s literally the size of a small piece of gum… It comes in handy if you lose something in your car or drop on the ground…. ( most cell phones come with a flashlight but for instance my little flashlight helped me find my cell phone that was stuck in between my seat avoiding a panic attack ha ha )
Thanks, DeAnna❤️
Don’t forget your reading glasses!
Nail glue & always an extra pair of pantyhose
