A beautiful pair of shoes or high heels can instantly make you feel more feminine and attractive.
But do you struggle to find stylish women’s shoes in your size?
In this article, I share my top places to shop for shoes for trans women and crossdressers – particularly if your feet are US women’s size 13 or larger!
How to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes
But first, let’s talk about how to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes. This actually varies a lot from country to country.
In the US and Australia, there’s approximately a 2 size difference between men’s and women’s shoes.
To find your women’s shoe size, simply add 2 sizes to your usual men’s shoe size. For example, a men’s US size 11 would be women’s US size 13.
If you are in the UK, Europe, or Asia, things are much easier since there’s no difference between men’s and women’s shoe sizes.
However, regardless of the size, keep in mind that men’s and women’s shoes are shaped slightly differently. Men’s shoes are usually wider at the heels.
For that reason, I always recommend trying on shoes before you buy them, rather than relying on the numerical size alone.
Now that you know your shoe size, let’s go shopping!
Long Tall Sally
The ultimate shopping destination for tall women, Long Tall Sally offers large size women’s shoes up to a US size 15. This UK based e-commerce site offers service and shipping within the US, UK, EU, and Australia.
Pleaser Shoes
While Pleaser Shoes prides itself on being the leader in sexy footwear, they offer a range of styles – from sexy to classic and pinup to goth. Most importantly, they offer women’s shoes up to a size 16.
Update: Our lovely reader Jolene has shared that with Pleasers, depending on the style of shoe, a trans woman or crossdresser may need to add THREE sizes to their male shoe size.

FSJ Shoes is a China-based shoe manufacturer that offers a huge array of styles up to a size 15 US. Best of all, they also offer custom made shoes at affordable prices so you can make any shoe dream come true!

I get my shoes and boots at JustFab. I love their foot wear. And most of their styles come in up to size 13. I have bought 6 pairs of boots there. But that is my preferance, and I wear a size 12 womans.

Where can I get those red strappy shoes in the title graphic?
So I’m a size 15 woman’s. If I don’t want hooker boots or men’s shoes that clam to be woman’s or flats. These web sites have nothing for me
I’m size 14 and have pretty fair luck on Amazon. Not a ton of selection though. I’ll definitely be checking out these recommendations!
Some UK sources would be nice too; as importing into the UK from USA does cost a packet. Customs duty is based on total cost of parcel including postage; and also there is VAT to be added – plus a handling charge by Royal Mail Parcel Post; and one has no option not to use or allow Parcel Post to handle the custom charges etc. (for which you have of course to pay them back) – and they charge you for doing it all. In effect you are being ripped off by Parcel Post for a service you didn’t ask for.
I can usually get away with a size 11 in most ladies shoes if the fit is regular, a 12 usually is a little too big and my heels slip out; I must be between sizes? But. I really can’t pass up a cute pair of stems. I have lots and lots of shoes and just love them all, open toe pumps, pointy toe pumps, strappy heel sandals, wedges, slides, tall boots, booties, flats, chunky heels, flat sandals, etc….!!! I’m a little shoe crazy, but I just love all styles & types. I’m glad shoemakers are finally starting to make bigger sizes, there is a great need for us Gurls!!! Arial 😉
