Do you feel like you don’t fit into traditional gender norms?
Whether you’re a crossdresser, a transgender woman, or someone who embraces a different gender identity, one thing is clear: society still has a lot to learn about gender non-conforming people.
Do you agree? If so, let’s talk about it!
What do you wish people understood about you?
Whether it’s the people closest to you or the world at large, what message would you like to share?
The more voices and perspectives out there, the more others will hopefully begin to understand.
I’d love to hear from you, so please share in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
Just wish they could realize that we want to be a girl, they just don’t get it!! Female trapped in a male body, why I love looking pretty!!! Thanks Lady!!
This has been an ongoing discussion as of late. I won’t settle for TOLERANCE. I want to be ACCEPTED as a human being. Why is that so difficult?
Roxanne, I agree!!!!!!!
sweetie … you captured my thoughts perfectly!
That’s an excellent point, Roxanne!
Amazing how something so simple as acceptance can be so difficult to achieve.
I wish my wife would understand my desire to crossdress I am bi which she don’t understand either, but she thinks all crossdressers are gay, I do love her.
I would want people to know what I actually want to be and do and become. Like my parents and school therapist (is 15 too young to be on this site?) don’t know how I would want to be able to be more openly feminine, being openly transgender. Whereas I most often end up having to act and dress to the male stereotype and it seriously sucks. I would want to be able to express myself for myself, rather than people still seeing me as a boy who needs to be like a boy.
God, I can’t want until I get to transition…
What I wish people to know is that I am still the same person that I was before I transitioned… my gender doesn’t define me… it only augments who I am internally.
I wish people would understand that I am not a freak and not out to influence or hurt anyone. I dress as a female because it makes me feel good, I am not out for sexual reasons.
I am just a normal woman. I do not want to be treated differently, one way or the other. I am not militant. I just want to be treated as me, a part of the human race.
That Ted Cruz would understand that we do not want to rape his daughters in the shower…
