Are you someone who doesn’t fit traditional gender norms?
Whether you’re a crossdresser, transgender woman, or embrace a different gender identity, it’s clear that society still has a lot to learn about gender non-conforming people.
Do you agree?
If so, let’s shed some light!
What do you wish people understood about you?
Whether it’s the people closest to you or the world at large, what message would you like to share?
The more voices and perspectives out there, the more others will hopefully begin to understand.
I’d love to hear from you, so please share in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
I would love for people to take the time to get to know me first before passing judgment on me. I would love for people to understand that just because I crossdress, that does not make me a weird person, a bad person, a pervert, or anything else. I would love for them to know that this is not a “lifestyle” that I chose, this is just a part of who I am. I have been this way for as long as I can remember – my earliest memories are of wanting to dress like a girl, so this is not something that I came to later on in life. Everyone has a male and a female component to them, some of us just have a stronger leaning towards the feminine, that’s all. We’re still people. We still have feelings and emotions. We still hurt when people say nasty things about us or do negative things to us. Physically we’re men, yes, I get that. But there is a strong female component to us that may actually help us to be more sensitive, more caring, more understanding than a typical male would be. Don’t be threatened by that, just realize that everyone in the world is different and everyone has traits and characteristics that are different. Ours just happen to be that we desire to view ourselves as women, at least some of the time.
All those who found out I’m a CD thinks I need help that it’s so wrong. Like I can help what’s inside that needs to be part of me. Oh how I wished to be female at all times. He he.
We don’t deserve any special favors or any more acceptance from the world than we do now. We should just go out and make the best of our lives and be the best people we can, be grateful for life, expect no special favors ,acceptance/ other, from people than everyone else. Be successful human beings, expect nothing.
Not only that I have felt me as a women but also for the feminin soft colorful beautiful style. The opposite side is the male side nowadays they look like something that has crawled up and out of a garbeg can. Last time a boy looked good was before 1998 and I still wonder what the heck happend that year? I can say that I do not care what others think of my apperance. That is not theres business. Unfortunately there is very little hope of getting the male side to adjust to the reality. That would take centuries. 🙁
I just want everyone to know I am a person who respects others and simply wants to be respected in return. You may not understand me and that’s OK,I don’t either some of the time Lol. Just don’t judge me.
I would like them to know I was born a Tgirl that I didvnot choose to be the way I am however it happened maybe it was natures mistake its OK I’ve been very girly and tomboyish so people still keep asking me if am a boy or girl and obviously am a girl then they give Me a look that will kill a person which is what I am another person that was born unique oh and also a princess XD
Princess
I wish people would stop stereotyping cross dressers as being gay, that “there is something wrong with us” and in the same light as Drag Queens and Bruce Jenner. We are middle to upper-class men, mostly professional, usually straight, who don’t want to offend anybody, and who enjoy dressing as a woman and looking our best. Is that a sin? I don’t think so! If people would just get to know us and not cast aspersions, they might think otherwise. Enough said? Merry Christmas to all. Love, Carollyn
Carollyn… I would only hope that you don’t believe that Caitlyn Jenner is a detriment to our cause. She is the most courageous supportive MtF TG person I have ever heard of. She is a tremendous ally and deserves to be acknowledged as such. I hope you can find it in your heart to celebrate her.
I’m not a Bruce Jenner fan. If he goes all the way in his transition, then I will reconsider. I will leave it at that. Just my 2-cents. CC
