Breasts are a popular topic here on the blog. And no wonder! There’s nothing more feminine than the female bosom.
Obtaining feminine curves, particularly breasts, is a major goal for many transgender women and crossdressers.
While breast forms or padded bras provide a temporary solution, having your own feminine breasts can be a vital step in the male to female journey.
The good news is that there are many ways to reach this goal!
That’s why in this blog post, I offer an overview of the most popular MFT breast enlargement methods, including pros and cons of each. Read on to learn more!
Transgender Hormone Therapy
If you are a trans woman planning a full transition, then gender affirming hormone therapy (also known as transgender hormone replacement therapy or HRT) is the best place to begin your breast enlargement journey.
While hormone therapy can’t undo the effects of puberty, it will cause feminizing changes in the body including changes in hair growth, skin texture, redistribution of body fat, and yes, breast growth.
Breast growth typically begins within 3 months of starting hormones. The breasts experience significant growth in the first 6-12 months. Breast growth typically slows down after that, but the breasts can continue to develop for years.
It’s important to know that your age can significantly impact your results with hormone therapy. Trans women who start hormones at a younger age typically experience more dramatic results than those who start at a later age.
Herbal Pills And Creams
This method can be controversial, and it’s not a replacement for gender affirming hormone therapy for those going through a full transition. That said, herbal pills and creams are used by many early-stage trans women and even crossdressers.
The premise is simple: There are many natural herbs (known as phytoestrogens) that have estrogenic effects, as well as herbs that have anti-androgenic effects.
These herbs have been used by cisgender women for centuries to manage symptoms of PMS, menopause, and other hormonal conditions.
These herbs can also be used to mimic some of the effects of transgender HRT, though obviously the effects will be much weaker.
Personally, I know of many people who have obtained significant breast enlargement using herbal products and were happy with their results. Even so, it’s important to have realistic expectations with this method.
If you’re interested and want to explore this option, I have these recommendations:

Breast Implant Surgery
Hormonal breast enlargement methods, including transgender HRT or phytoestrogenic herbs, can take a lot of time and the results can be somewhat unpredictable.
The most reliable way to obtain the exact breast size and shape you desire is through breast augmentation surgery. This can be a very satisfying surgery if you take the time to find a good doctor and thoroughly research the procedure.
I recommend checking out this guide to breast augmentation to learn more about the surgery. It covers the costs, risks to consider, and differences between the various types of breast implants.
Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation
Did you know that breast implants aren’t the only surgical option for increasing your breast size? Fat transfer breast augmentation uses your body’s own natural fat to increase your breast size.
The advantage of this technique is that the results typically look more natural than breast implants. The downside is that it can only increase the breasts 1-2 cup sizes. You also have to have enough excess fat on your body that can be transferred to the breasts, so this is not a good option for very thin people.

Breast Enlargement Pump
Turning our attention back to non-surgical methods, a final option to consider is using a breast enlargement pump.
While this might sound like a gimmick, there is some actual science to back it up. Breast enlargement pumps stimulate breast growth through tissue expansion.
Studies show that applying tension to an area leads to tissue growth. Surgeons use this technique (known as “tissue expansion”) to regenerate skin, bones and other tissues. Applying vacuum pressure to your breasts can also stimulate real growth over the long run.
A medical grade breast enlargement pump called the Brava was developed by plastic surgeon Roger K. Khouri, MD. Currently, the Brava is used by some plastic surgeons to enhance the results of fat transfer to the breasts.
While the Brava is only available through plastic surgeons, there are other breast enlargement pumps on the market.
One popular option is The Noogleberry Breast Enlargement System, which starts at $60. This device is meant to be used for 30 mins to 1 hour per day and can be used alone or to enhance the results of herbs or hormone therapy.
An added bonus of using a breast enlargement pump like the Noogleberry is that it can give you an instant size boost by increasing blood flow to the breasts. This swelling only lasts a few hours, but you can enjoy the results in the meantime!

Warning! Avoid Silicone Breast Injections
Now that we’ve covered 5 options for MTF breast enlargement, let’s talk about one that you absolutely need to avoid and that’s illicit silicone breast injections.
Silicone injections are banned in the U.S. and most countries, however, they are still used in some countries or performed under the table by unqualified injectors.
Injectable silicone is different from FDA-approved silicone breast implants. Silicone implants keep the silicone contained within the breast implant, preventing it from migrating within the body.
Silicone gel injections, on the other hand, can cause serious injury, disfigurement or even death as the silicone migrates. These injections must be avoided at all costs.
Let’s talk about breasts!
As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this hot topic.
Have you pursued any of these options for MTF breast enlargement? If so, what was your experience?

Hi,
I’m a 37 y.o. woman, but a very skinny one and have struggled all my life with my breast size. I’m flat. AA. Nothing. Nada. Barely something around my period. Like some of the members here, I didn’t feel comfortable taking hormones or herbal hormone stimulants, and after the reports on the havoc that implants create in your body – I gave up on surgery as well. I just came across Noogleberry, which I ordered (YAY!) and looking for before and after experiences and pics brought me here.
Thank you all for the precious info! What a wonderful, informative and supportive forum this is. I don’t know why aren’t there more threads on this subject.
I wish you all luck on your breast enlargement journey.

I guess I’ve been using the same “Concept” buy using flexible plastic kids Sippy cups & jars for a couple yrs now—-the jars Like peanut butter have harder rims so get uncomfortable after a while but work–I’ve went from nothing (even inny nipples ) to a B cup–But you have to be consistent-I’m sitting here with children’s Sippy cups & large peanut butter jars over top both creating suction–
Morgan—I don’t see any disrespect–In fact that was a cute response-
Sorry, disrespect was not my intent. I apologize.
9 out of 10….choose Jif.
I prefer Kraft peanut butter—
Does the breat enlargment pumps hurt?
I’ve always had some natural breast tissue and only started serious CD due to comments about my chest from kids at school AND kids in my family so I thought if everyone thinks I have breasts I might as well have some! Using Bosom Beauty for two years now increases me from a 34B (no bra) / small C (in bra) to a 34C (no bra) / 34D (in bra) for a few hours, perhaps even a little bigger if I pump 30 minute sessions x 3 – 6 in a day for several days (I cant do it every day). I have a permanent increase in the size of my upper breast tissue towards the centre of my chest – thats C cup so can make a nice natural cleavage but the Bosom Beauty hasnt massively increased my outer boob lower outer profile as theres less muscle there so the increase is not even. I use the full range of four cup sizes with it. My breast tissue is a definite D cup width but projects only 2″ on each breast at the bottom once the pumping is done but looks great in a balcony bra or bustier. I’d say for anyone planning MtF breast implant surgery that the Bosom Beauty is really helpful in stretching tissue – especially if you can afford to increase your weight by 3 – 6 lbs and get a bit of fat on the breasts too. If I wasnt such an ugly girl with a family to respect I’d definitely now go for D cup implants as thered be plenty of stretch to take them ( I think about it every single day). They would also give me the full rounded shape that I’d love to have but cant have as its not really socially acceptable in my soicla grouping for a man to be going around with D cup boobs. As it is, the enlargment has now made me so self consious that I cant just wear a t-shirt in summer unless its baggy otherwise the profile of my chest is now noticeable. So thumbs up for Bosom Beauty it does work. Note you do need to keep using it several times a week or daily to maintain the overall effects. Like any muscles if you dont use them you lose them. Note also the new pumps with the product are very aggressive much more so than the older ones. Be careful you dont over pump in pressure – old pump 5 – 6 and new ones 2-4 as the new one creates such a good vacuum that the pressure can be too harsh and actually be painful/damage your underlying breast tissue if you are not careful. Hope this helps. I’d be happy to discuss further or help in any way such as before photos and of the enlargement during use and after.
Lani, your first sentence described me as well–from kids in the neighborhood giving me bra advertisement to self-confidence issues with heaviness ‘up there’ in phys. ed, at an older age I decided to see about shaping them. Due to my physical size (think linebacker) I know I couldn’t pass as a CD out in the public, but at home…the subtle changes make me feel more normal. I should note too that I am a xxy-47 male, so the overbearing male attitude isn’t there. Of the various options available for firming the breasts, I found the Noogleberry cups to be quite good. As with any suction device, one must take care not to overpump, as there’s always a chance for small blisters to form on the skin under the cup. I overdid the last time I pumped and had that result. I also am at the stage where if I pumped more, I’d run the risk of becoming too visible with my cleavage. The desire to pump is there, but public exposure keeps that in check…for now. Just wanted to affirm your experience with personal modifications.
You are so right with time I now have 52 c beautiful breasts where as I was for a long time at 52 a. Girls just keep trying on a daily basis and it will happen. love you
I have been using the Noogleberry system for three years now and can say that it really does work!! I went from totally flat to a 40-C !! I gave away my forms a couple of years ago.I started using it for an hour twice a day. Now i pump for an hr(mostly because it feels so good)a day I have gotten so many comments on my breasts. If you have the time and really want breasts try it!! Lill
I have been using breast suction daily for at least 5 hours a day. My wife applies teh suction cups after I use a good amount of body lotion to permit the breast tissue to slide easily into the cups. The I finish dressing and she zips up my dress. I wear as I work at home to permit the breast tissue plenty of time to expand and stretch giving me now at least an A cup. I filled my bikini nicely last night when we went into the hot tub.
this is my email address … that I have been using. Why is it a problem for you?
I’ve used Noogleberry on and off for about a year. I’ve also used nipple cups. I bought a real airlock pump offered by noogleberry butt you can buy at grainier for about 20$. It has a pressure gauge which is very important. You can overdo the suction and cause blisters ( especially when doing nipples). Also if you have sensitive skin, I do, bruising can occur due to over suction. The process, just like the herbs, is a slow progression that can’t be hurried. Watch your pressures, most use a 5 to 9 PSI. More than that will hurt and possibly bruise. As for results, it works, and needs to be done regularly to get real results. Be patient, the girls will develop. Love this site. Been a real fun time sharing and reading. Lia
