Are you ready to unleash your inner woman and discover a whole new world of self-expression?
Crossdressing can help you break free from gender norms and embrace your true self.
In this blog post, we’ll explore the top 10 benefits of crossdressing that can transform your life.
There’s a lot to be said for embracing your femininity and all the perks that come with it!
Top 10 Benefits of Crossdressing
1. Embracing both sides
Crossdressing lets you bring out the best of both genders and incorporate them into your own personality.
2. Motivation to look good
When you’re crossdressing, you naturally want to look great, right? That’s why it can inspire you to take better care of yourself, stay in shape, and prioritize self-care.
3. Better understanding of women
Crossdressing helps you see things from a woman’s perspective, which can make you more understanding and empathetic towards them.
4. Finding a community
When you embrace crossdressing, an added bonus is that you can tap into online or local communities. These communities can help you feel accepted and supported.
5. Fidelity and integrity
Now, I hope you’d never cheat on anyone, but there’s an interesting twist here. When YOU are “the other woman,” it can reinforce your commitment to being faithful.
6. Discovering your true self
Crossdressing is an amazing journey of self-discovery. It’s a chance to dig deep and uncover parts of yourself you may not have fully explored.
7. Unleashing your uniqueness
Normal is overrated, right? Crossdressing makes you stand out from the crowd and be an intriguing, fascinating individual.
8. Embracing differences
Crossdressing teaches you to accept and appreciate those who don’t fit into society’s norms. It broadens your perspective, promotes inclusivity, and shows you the beauty of diversity.
9. Stress relief
Crossdressing offers a fantastic and harmless way to relieve stress. It’s like stepping into a different role and enjoying a fulfilling activity that helps you unwind and take care of yourself.
10. Boosting creativity and courage
Crossdressing requires creativity, resourcefulness, and a dose of courage. It’s all about stepping out of your comfort zone, trying new things, and embracing the unexpected.

I think you are forgetting a very important plus: How you get tretaed by both men and women… everyone treats you better when you are a woman. I can tell. I used to ba a very respectable man. Now I get treated like a goddess… spetially when I look hot =p)
I totally agree, since I transitioned at work, I am treated much differently, and in a very positive way.
Doors are opened for me, even when my arms are not full of objects. I have noticed that people “talk with me” and not “to me.” I have found out what really goes on in the Ladies room is actually a social event where women can speak without judgement of the men around them. You can learn a lot at the mirror and sink in the Ladies Room about make-up, hair styles, and fashion, 🙂
Mostly, I have gained so many “Real Friendships” as a woman. The friends that I have now are so supportive of the real me. I am much more involved in helping anyone who is repressed in society and I have much, much more compassion for anyone that is “outside the normal box.” I am much more involved with groups and organizations such as the ACLU and the Humane Rights Collision that advocate for fair treatment of everyone.
I still am able to do many of the things I did as a man, but I enjoy living, full time, for the rest of my life as a member of the “Cool Gang” of women.
Good point! 🙂
I want to live as a full time woman. It’s so natural to me.I enjoy it so much.
I generally agree with the list above. I want to add these pros too:
1. I like the glam sexy feeling I get dressed in womens fashion.
2. Buying female clothes, make-up and women magazines stimulates the economy lol.
3. Planning ahead my purchases by doing online research (I dislike walking around a department store feeling confused and overwhelmed by the massive choice of fashion and beauty products for female compared to male).
4. I can better appreciate how extraordinarily complex women are in mind, body and spirit.
And one con:
1. More time and money consuming?
PS I hope my shopping experiences gets better and more enjoyable with practice. I still feel insecure shopping for my femme self Emily so I mainly shop at Target.
Yes Niki Allnite it is very tough to buy online, but once you make a few mistakes, you know your sizes and its easy after that! I know I’m a Plus Size girl, usually fit 2x, wear Queen pantyhose, have a 38C cup, etc etc.
I absolutey love Dress Barn. They are so nice there. I’ve gotten to know a few of the saleswomen there and they are nice. Just this past weekend I went in there with my boyfriend, and ended up buying a new dress and a leather pencil skirt! I do not like Lane Bryant, I ended up there looking at a leather sequen skirt, and the lady knew I was transgender and she just was very rude helping me. Proably because I looked better than her! LOL
Emily–
Thanks for sharing the shopping experience. So often I was buying things online that were NOT fitting or just NOT feeling right. That was when I had no one to shop with. Now my friend Bev go out and shop til we drop. And we;ve hit everything from Goodwill (some fabulous buys and what girl doesn’t like a good deal) to Ross “Cross” Dress For Less (plenty of surprises in all sizes there, to major mall department stores like Belks and Nordstrom. OK I spent more at a 50% off DKNY pant sales then I did on 4 outfits from Goodwill, but hey….Bev just takes forever to find the perfect bra! Find a shopping girlfriend! It’s soooo much fun! Kisses!
I am going to marry a transgender male and your insight is incredible . The man that I am going to marry is fabulous in every way. I relish his being transgender in every way. He treats me far better than any straight man that I have been with in the past.
Lucille,
I have always wished to be female since I was 8 yrs. old. I chose a different road though I continued to be in the closet. I have lately blossomed more and more into a female and find it easier to transform myself into a woman. I feel my body, mind and soul transforming into a woman thanks to your help thru hypnotism and tips. My breasts have grown naturally thru out the years and Nicole is taking over my psyche everyday.
sincerely,
Nicole
Having to juggle the complexity of two different existances keeps the brain young and pliable. Branching into a new life may promote longevity in some individuals if the life force is running out for the host gender and extended for the developing gender.

My workmates keep commenting on how much weight I have lost and yesterday my ex told me I looked 28-30 and I’m nearly 40! Extended life indeed! Woohoo for the hormones!!!
Most of us if not all of us, whom share the experience of letting go of the struggle inside between our boy=girl.Have found that we become free to experience life in the way IT WAS MEANT FOR US.Once we surrender to whom we are the feeling of being cheated almost disappears, but still feel cheated being a father and not mother instead.GOD I HATE lookin like a boy at times.I feel that is “THE LIE” not the other way around.since i take hormones…its like i’m compelled to…I think and feel a lot different, you can call it harmony.Seattle is a great place for doing your “own thing”.I dont fear others objecting to my choice of how i feel to look.even when i must be him, i’m definately a her too!i feel no guilt for being me, why should i?

In December 2009 just a week before Christmas I was given the news I had cancer (initially kidney). I had been firmly “in the closet” up to then with very few trips out “en femme”.With a forcast of 2 or 3 months to live without surgery I decided to transition as I always dreamed of but never had the courage. So suddenly Susan was out and going to mainstream hospital inc a 6 day stay for operation. Its been a tough time regarding the cancer but being Susan has brought many of the benefits you list. I am certainly much more content being out and not hiding my inner self. Even had the confidence to do beauty pageants.
