When it comes to expressing your gender identity, navigating labels can be tricky. For those identifying as transgender or non-binary, finding the right words is essential.
Obviously, it’s important for people to use language that respects and reflects your identity. Outdated or offensive terms can be hurtful.
However, it’s important to remember that you’re more than just a label!
Ultimately, what matters most is how you personally want to be addressed, regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum.
So, let’s talk about it!
Do you have a particular term or label that resonates with you – such as crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary person, or something else?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
I think of myself as bigender and on a journey. I don’t rue any part of my male past and am very connected to it, but the part of me I like the best is my female side and want to see that grow and expand. Colleen
I consider myself a closet crossdresser. I have lots of sexy lingerie i like to wear under my clothes everyday, but, the only time I get fully dressed is at home.
hi Lucille,
i’m not much for identifying myself by any label. i don’t mind labels as such, and there isn’t any question that i do cross dress so obviously i am a “crossdresser”. but i don’t identify like that – if i am dressed as a girl i think of myself as a girl, not as a “crossdresser”. if someone came up to me and said “i see you are a crossdresser” i wouldn’t be upset (though i might be irritated they could tell) but i just don’t think of myself that way. this is way too confusing isn’t it…

I would have to say if I was to be labeled, cross dresser would be what I would be. I enjoyed dressing as female more than a man. I enjoy the feeling of being dress out as a true female. As far as being labeled, that is a term that has been used wrongly for so long. Why do we have to label what something is? It would be so nice if people would not judge one by their looks, but by who they really are.
Well I classified myself as a female. I was declared a female by the courts in MO. and that is what I go by.
I sometimes dress in the opposite sexes clothes so I am a crossdresser.I have never liked the term transvestite.Crossdresser sounds soooo much better.
Crossdresser.
How do I label myself? Easy, with a “Brothers” Label maker. preferably reading “woman” nothing else.
