When it comes to expressing your gender identity, navigating labels can be tricky. For those identifying as transgender or non-binary, finding the right words is essential.
Obviously, it’s important for people to use language that respects and reflects your identity. Outdated or offensive terms can be hurtful.
However, it’s important to remember that you’re more than just a label!
Ultimately, what matters most is how you personally want to be addressed, regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum.
So, let’s talk about it!
Do you have a particular term or label that resonates with you – such as crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary person, or something else?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
I’m a woman, but it’s easier to tell people that I’m a trans or transgendered woman. No point in confusing the masses any more than they already are.
If I need to explain then I say that I am a Transgender Woman but most of the time I just say woman and she or her.
I don’t like labels but I call myself a crossdresser if for some reason I need to more fully define myself for someone.
I use trans woman or transgender woman, both I believe honestly state what type of woman I am. I do not concern myself with passing although I do fairly well, however I’m not ashamed of the type of woman I am, nor the route I took to become her. I’m proud of the strength and determination it took to embark on such a journey, and therefore feel no reason I should attempt to hide it, or fool anyone into believing I’m anything other than what I in fact am.
I am a Woman. That is who I am. Any other label is just that, a label and in my opinion erroneous.

I identify myself as a crossdresser. But am also slowly growing boobs.
Put simply, I would say crossdresser. That’s how I described myself to my doctor when we talked about it.
I really don’t like labels. In the words of Popeye. “I am what I am”. A person is who they are, should never have to answer to a label. I am a Transgendered person. It does not matter if I dress or not,I do dress to complete the way I feel inside, but not always necessary.
