When it comes to expressing your gender identity, navigating labels can be tricky. For those identifying as transgender or non-binary, finding the right words is essential.
Obviously, it’s important for people to use language that respects and reflects your identity. Outdated or offensive terms can be hurtful.
However, it’s important to remember that you’re more than just a label!
Ultimately, what matters most is how you personally want to be addressed, regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum.
So, let’s talk about it!
Do you have a particular term or label that resonates with you – such as crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary person, or something else?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
I identify as a woman. It’s how I feel and what I see.
Well, when I leave the house I’m a wearing guy clothes and very uncomfortable. I get back home as soon as I can strip the guy clothes off, and become Veronica the crossdresser. And within minutes I’m (Actually a bit longer 🙂 ) As I dress, I feel myself becoming what I’ve wanted all my life. A BEAUTIFUL GIRL…
I label myself as me….or as human
I actually hate the discriminatory labelling based on mental or corporeal gender or sexual preferences
Yet medically I am a chimeric Hermaphrodite. (aka a twin of both genders fusing into one singular body during wombgrowth)
I have been pregnant for 11.5 weeks, AND I have imprenated a woman.
Both failed; my pregnancy due hormanal inbalace, the woman due personal conditions.
Yet those 11.5 weeks, that feeling…that was mine…nobody can take that away
I currently identify as a crossdresser. I doubt I will ever be able to advance past this. However, is I do, I would identify as a woman and not a transwomen, etc.
I identify as a crossdresser. I’ve never tried to “pass” but have gone out fully dressed to parties etc. I underdress 100% of the time and have been lucky enough to find many ladies who enjoy my crossdressing as much as I do.
The closest to what I identify as is a crossdresser.
On that same note, I am more than a crossdresser as well.
I have a feminine voice, especially when in a place of recycled air. My voice tends to get softer and a little squeaky.
I dress feminine 80 to 90 % of the time. I always have something feminine on 100% of the time (of course not in the shower).
I do have some other tendencies that are not really defined in the “What gender are you” questionnaires.
I’m a woman first and foremost. Who happens to be transgender.
That’s how I identify myself. Although I still identify as transwoman, I will only identify as woman after SRS. Being woman is what I am, it’s how I feel.
I totally agree, i’m a woman who happens to be transgender.
I identify as transgender and non-binary. I present as female 98% of the time. The other 2% are times when I take my car in for service or when I don’t want people to be confused as to why my presentation doesn’t match my driver’s license. The last time this happened was getting COVID vaccines.
So, the above description is 6 words. I consider it as shorthand as a complete definition would be approximately 28 words.
