When it comes to expressing your gender identity, navigating labels can be tricky. For those identifying as transgender or non-binary, finding the right words is essential.
Obviously, it’s important for people to use language that respects and reflects your identity. Outdated or offensive terms can be hurtful.
However, it’s important to remember that you’re more than just a label!
Ultimately, what matters most is how you personally want to be addressed, regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum.
So, let’s talk about it!
Do you have a particular term or label that resonates with you – such as crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary person, or something else?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
For myself, I prefer the label Transgender. There are certain aspects of my maleness that I can live with, but I feel more female than male. In that way, I feel like I’m between genders a bit, and I want the chance to express both sides of myself. That’s why I prefer to be called Transgender.
I’m ok with being called a crossdresser, I know I’m not a woman, but Man I feel like a Woman when I’m dressed
I am transgendered….starting to explore the outside world. Going to support group meetings, shopping for first time enfemme, and going to clubs twice! Going tonight….can’t wait!
I consider myself Transgendered. Genetically male but prefer to be female. I will do anything short of SRS at this time to be a woman as that is my preference. I think that the many labels are out of ignorance or possibly fear. I know one person that very loudly bashes anything other than the stereotypical male/female roles in our American society yet he wears panties and other feminine attire. We have talked and he is so afraid of being caught and then thus labeled as he does to others. Not a good advocate for acceptance. As for myself I accept any lifestyle a person chooses as long as it is not harmful to themselves or others.
i don’t have a label, labels belong on tins of beans but i consider myself as a female (some say a transsexual woman)i don’t mind being called a t girl.xxx
I think we all fall under the Trans gender umbrella, cross dressers enjoy dressing in women clothes, there’s a feminine side in their personality; transsexual feel that that they were born in the wrong body or their gender they were born in doesn’t match the way they feel about themselves
The answer is fairly simple for me…I am a person…there are manys traits and characteristics that make us who we are as a person.
cheers,
ADR.
I don’t really like labels”.
I consider myself a “transwoman” or “she-male;\a female in a guy body. I am just not the true me-myself unless I
am dressed, look, BE a gurl!! man body or not.
When i do dress/look like a guy I feel deep down that I am not being me- a gurl, a female. I see & look at myself as a gurl in all ways.
