When it comes to expressing your gender identity, navigating labels can be tricky. For those identifying as transgender or non-binary, finding the right words is essential.
Obviously, it’s important for people to use language that respects and reflects your identity. Outdated or offensive terms can be hurtful.
However, it’s important to remember that you’re more than just a label!
Ultimately, what matters most is how you personally want to be addressed, regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum.
So, let’s talk about it!
Do you have a particular term or label that resonates with you – such as crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary person, or something else?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
I HATE labels! I am…well….me! I am fully male when I am male, and feel fully female when I get to dress. I suppose that would make me a crossdresser, and Im fine with that, but it sure doesn’t adequately describe who I am. Im also father, son, brother, husband, and so many other names… I am just proud that I am happy, not hurting anyone, and in a meaningful deep relationship with the woman of my dreams…. Try labeling me now!!! 🙂

I call myself t-girl. Although I am just starting my transition, when I am out dressed I am happy when people call me miss. It seems validating to me.
When im out I get called miss or mam. But i enjoy it very much it tells me that i pass off completely as a woman.
I don’t need a label but I am a man who is often a woman
i consider myself a crossdresser.
I would say Female, but to my friends i am a transwoman or T-girl.
Nearly every time I’m out in public, I’m labeled as a woman. I get called “miss” and “ma’am” a lot, even at work, and I thank my height, dainty features, fluidity, and voice for that.
A lot of people don’t even notice that I’m a crossdresser, they just see me as a girl going about her day.
I’m sure I’ll pass much better once I finish laser hair removal by Tria, only 5 more treatments to go.

Label don´t make idea about personality, feeling and identity. Every person is diferent, and label can´t express clearly all.
I’m with ISIS… I think part of the problem with labels is, they only designate those neat little boxes people like to push other people into. Less lables means more authentic people.
But then again we seem to need them ourselves… too bad!
If women are from venus, and men are from mars, I guess I’m from jupiter ;-P
The nice thing about being from Jupiter is, you have a great view on venus and mars, and you can see all the martians and venusians messing on earth, trying to tell everyone there’s no other planets in the solar system 😉
Problem is what % from venus and mars there´r into jupiter, it´s unpossible to determinate,so label is no correct, because labels are expressing people think, not how each person one is feeling.
Agree totally. I guess I’m also from Jupiter, or maybe Pluto which isn’t even a planet anymore. LOL
