Choosing the right words to describe your gender identity can feel tricky. For transgender and non-binary people, finding a label that fits is personal and important.
Using respectful language matters. Outdated or offensive terms can hurt, so it’s okay to set boundaries about how others address you.
At the same time, you are more than a label. What matters most is how you choose to define yourself, no matter where you are on the gender spectrum.
Do you have a label that feels right – like crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary, or something else?
I’d love to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
I don’t really like labels (except Prada, Gucci, Miu miu etc!) I guess T-girl would be the most bearable, if I had to subscribe to one.
I get no thrill, nor do I feel sexy from being dressed en femme (personally that would smack on being a crossdressers or transvestite)
For me it just feels right, so the label that I feel most comfortable with is Emma 🙂 x
Beautiful and very sexy!
I have a new label for you: GORGEOUS 🙂
I’m biased, Emma, I’m crazy about redheads… 😉
Aww thank you Sandra 🙂
Transgender woman, for now and eventually a Woman, the ultimate compliment, because I honor women and it would be a step up for me to become a woman.
i like to become a crossdresser
That’s simple. I’m me.
I can understand there is a need for labels (category is a preferred term and perhaps less defined) with all the diversity in the world. For myself, like Jill, Transgender Woman would be my choice. I would be okay with T-Girl in a more relaxed and fun environment.
Since my wife has told me repeatedly that she promoted me to female, and since i always do exactly as she says, I am glad to tell you we both consider me a woman now and I am grateful to never have to be a man again
I don’t liketo put labels on any one as I wouldn’t like it if they put a label on me, we are just human being trying to live our lives, but in a different way the best way we can.
Labels annoy me. I prefer female/ lady/woman when labels are required. It’s unfortunate how society wants to micro-categorize everyone.
I am like you dear I like to think of myself as female/woman/lady dont like labels
