When it comes to expressing your gender identity, navigating labels can be tricky. For those identifying as transgender or non-binary, finding the right words is essential.
Obviously, it’s important for people to use language that respects and reflects your identity. Outdated or offensive terms can be hurtful.
However, it’s important to remember that you’re more than just a label!
Ultimately, what matters most is how you personally want to be addressed, regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum.
So, let’s talk about it!
Do you have a particular term or label that resonates with you – such as crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary person, or something else?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!

Lucille
I don’t think of my self as having a label, but I am and always will be a cross dresser I love my clothes and shoes, my closet is about 90 percent female I am 6 foot at 220 lb with all natural B to C breast myself and my girlfriend love them and I am blessed and feel more comfortable around people, so as far as a label I am a cross dresser and prowed of it.
I hate labels. Since I live alone I am all girl when I am at home. When out in public, I am in my male mode. I am too afraid to go out in public as my female self. I would consider myself as à Cross dresser.
I agree and I am the same at home I am female janice have not got that courage yet to go out and attending gender clinic for transition and want change so much x
Having now lived over half of my 63 years as a woman, I definitely identify and label myself as a female first and transwoman as a far second label. My male identity past away on a hospital operating table on my 30th birthday and I have not regretted it since.
I’m twixt and tween. In transition but not full time yet as a woman. The best answer or label would a transitioning transwoman.
Love,
Jenni
transitionning, but definitely transwoman, from various people calling me “miss” or “ladies” when i am out in town with female friends.
I agree with the onessaying that you have to build your inner strength to appear as the real yourself.
In the end, the whole stuff is REALLY worth it.
Maybe just telling obvious things, but anyway.
Well, on a lighter note, how about T-guy, for those of us with more hair on our faces than on our heads?
Now, if I could only rock that bald look I’d be all set..
I used to call myself a transwoman , I no longer feels that fits since I consider my self transitioned thus I am simply a woman. As I always have been.
For society’s purposes I am a cross dresser, as for myself, am living a dream and if I have my way wish to go ft living as a woman
I prefer “Woman” but “Transwoman” is acceptable for now, or to be addressed by name. Transwoman won’t be acceptable in a year or so further along – its a temporary designation in my mind.
