When presenting yourself as a woman, every detail matters! One detail that’s often overlooked is your feet.
No matter the size or shape of your feet, you can transform and feminize your feet with a little care and attention.
After all, there’s something so alluring about showing off sexy feet in a pair of strappy sandals or stilettos!
In this blog post (written specifically for trans women and crossdressers), I share 6 tips on how to get attractive, feminine feet. Read on to learn more!
1. Indulge in a Professional Pedicure
While you can give yourself a DIY pedicure, I recommend going to a salon for a professional treatment.
Aside from the pampering experience, it’s much easier to maintain pretty feet at home after you’ve let a pro remove your calluses, trim your cuticles, and reshape your nails.
Many men get pedicures with clear nail polish, so don’t feel shy about going to the salon in male mode. (Though of course, it’s much more fun en femme!)
2. Banish Foot Odors
It’s hard to feel sexy and sensuous if you have stinky feet. The main cause of foot odor is sweat, so here are a few tips for controlling sweaty, smelly feet:
- Try applying antiperspirant to the soles of your feet.
- Take your shoes off when you’re at home to let your feet breathe.
- Wear cotton socks instead of polyester or nylon socks.
- Put baking powder in your shoes. Sodium bicarbonate helps control the bacteria that causes foot odor.
3. Remove Excess Hair
I’m always surprised how many people (including cisgender women) neglect to remove the hair from their toes. Who needs that distraction?
When you shave your legs, don’t forget to include your feet – and the tops of your feet too if you have hair there.

4. Get Rid of Calluses
Sexy feet are soft and touchable, so exfoliation is a must. Fortunately, there are some great tools that make the job of removing calluses much easier. I love the Amope Pedi Perfect Electronic Foot File.
5. Do a Foot Soak
Soaking your feet is a great way to get that spa experience at home – plus it leaves your feet clean and soft.
Simply fill a basin with warm (not too hot) water and soak your feet for 10 minutes. To make the soak more effective and enjoyable, add some Epsom salt or scented bath salts.
6. Use a Rich Foot Cream
Feet take a lot of abuse during the day, so it’s important to care for them by applying moisturizer regularly. Feet require heavy duty moisture, look for a cream specifically designed for the feet.

I did my own pedi and took the photo. I loved how it turned out.
Sexy high heeled sandals with Hanes Stockings and a sexy skirt. That makes me feel sexy and feminine.
Wearing ‘flare’ style jeans will help hide a larger foot, often down to the lace endings, whereas I have found that wearing skinny jeans does quite the opposite. I know they have fallen out of style again in recent years, but don’t worry, they’ll be back! If you have wide feet, getting a thinner shelled shoe will make the feet look more like everyone else running around in skate shoes and sneakers, which tend to be thick walled. Thinner shells also tend to be easier to hide under pants, although I have to caution that some manufacturers make the toe very long, so look for ones that put the first set of laces closer to the toe edge. Skate shoes do this a lot, but the trade is a thicker shell that will be harder to hide under anything except flares jeans and which will look blocky on anything larger than 8 or 9’s. For some reason, I also feel like my foot itself appears smaller when the whole heel is thicker (for those who can’t wear heels) than the shell is tall. PF Flyers make a few models that you can google to see an example of both the thick sole and the thin shell. My choice of shoe are combat boots, because most of my foot gets swallowed up under the pant leg and I get the ankle support that I need, but it’s not for everyone. I’m actually really petite, but I have huge hands and feet (I didn’t eat properly as a child, so I’m stuck looking like a Labrador puppy, heh).
Does anyone have any advice on what to do with discoloration? I think that bugs me the most. My hands are dark and reddish around my knuckles (all sets) and all around the nail, so the fat wrinkles on my skin that are required to accommodate my huge knuckles really stands out with the paleness in between to highlight it! Lotion doesn’t help, nor do gloves over night. I have no idea how to correct it and it’s not like I can go in for wrinkle redux because then I wouldn’t be able to bend my fingers! Thanks!
You could check out laser for the discoloration. I mean they can remove a tatoo with it. There is also laser skin resurfacing if one can afford it.
Wearing shoes that FIT is big thing for me. Plus pointed toe shoes can make a size 6 look huge so a woman like me wearing a 12/13 pointed toes looks like a ski. LOL!
It took me awhile but I have figured it out
my nails alway get a nice pupple sometimes red paint which make look more girly whenever i wear sandals.Almost 15 years till date.
I do what I call a “Crimson Tide” French on my toes, crimson base and white tips, looks great. Roll Tide!
