Traveling opens up new perspectives and can be especially freeing if you’re a crossdresser or transgender woman.
When you take a trip, it’s a chance to express your feminine self without the routines and expectations of everyday life.
Being your true self in a fresh, unfamiliar place can feel incredibly empowering!
Considering all the benefits of taking a transgender or crossdressing vacation, I’d love to know: Do YOU travel en femme?
Take my poll and share your MTF travel experiences or dreams in the comments!
Love,
Lucille

Looking Great Christy, You’ve come along well in three years.
Yes I started HRT Nov 20,2010. was on and of it for a few years. But being back on HRT séance Oct 7, 2016. Has been so beneficial. So being full time for eight years now I look different then my previous picture so this is what I look like now. This newer pic was taken on 3-12-2018
I love traveling as a female. I wear a skirt, speghetti strap top and the cutest pink high heels. Most of my wardrobe has women’s clothes in it. I even have 10 pairs of shoes. Now that summer is coming, I will put my bikini swimsuit in the car so if I want to go swimming I have it with me. I can’t wait until I get the money to go all the way. I am about 5 thousand dollars short. Thank-you Lucille for having this wonderful site and helpful information.
i have never traveled as woman but i am looking forward to doing it very soon.just a little nervous
thanks for all your girls comments and suggestions
For now, I am a part-time woman and if everything goes according to plan, I should be a full-time woman by middle of next year.
I have been living full time as a woman for three years. That includes travel; a flying trip to the west coast, trips on buses and trains, and multiple road trips. I had a minor hassle at airport security once (had to explain the breastforms when they showed up on the body scanner); aside from that, no issues.
Since the most recent renewal my driver’s license doesn’t look male. Still has a male name, I haven’t done the legal name and gender change yet. Nobody has ever made a fuss about it.
Do you use female bathroom? If so, is it legal?
It’s legal in the USA everywhere as far as I know. See Public Accomodations under Issues & Publications at transgenderlawcenter.org
Definitely travel as a woman
Re Travelling en femme
U have flown interstate a few times within Australia. After trying to be as inconspicuous as possible ( 1st time I flew) I learnt a few very valuable lessons.. Having removed my boots, computer, etc into 3 trays, I managed to set alarm off 4 times before I realised it was my waist cinch. Had to stand there whilst they found a female security officer to “pat me down” Much to the the interest of the other travelling commuters. NOW I walk up , find the female security officer , tell her that the ALARM will go off and why,so now I dont even have to remove my Jewelry ..
It’s been a hard road transitioning while trying to keep our marriage together. Consequently there are lots of things I don’t do enfemme,
but we are separating anyway (her insistence), so full time is getting closer, and Yes I definitely will be traveling enfemme…….We will remain friends and support each other where possible.
Hugs,
Wynsome.
